Rogers Issues Reports Near Toronto, Ontario

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Toronto and nearby locations:

  • skingstone sheryl kingstone (@skingstone) reported from Vaughan, Ontario

Hey @RogersHelps this is the second time in about 2 weeks that I had to report an outage. That’s not best practice pro-active customer service. Your IVR is also extremely poorly organized.

  • mackaytaggart Mackay Taggart (@mackaytaggart) reported from Toronto, Ontario

This seems like an odd message to come from a police service, when @Rogers has tweeted no information about an outage themselves. Also, as a Rogers customer, I haven’t noticed any issue.

  • __LELLI 𝔙𝔞𝔫𝔦𝔩𝔩𝔞 ℑ𝔠𝔢 △⃒⃘ (@__LELLI) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@miz_flow @Bell_Support @RogersHelps I actually didn’t get a reply and had to call in, tech coming on Wednesday. We’ve had shit service since Saturday

  • beacherto Nenad Andrasic (@beacherto) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps Still not fixed and no help from DM. C’mon fix this.

  • R7F1 RAF (@R7F1) reported from Toronto, Ontario

No @rogers service in Scarborough all day

  • skingstone sheryl kingstone (@skingstone) reported from Vaughan, Ontario

@MDMGeek Yeah one would think. And @RogersHelps it’s down again. I ran an errand. Came back. Down down down.

  • JeremyLegat Jeremy Legat (@JeremyLegat) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Stay away from @BellMediaPR —hidden charges and monthly service amount just jumped with no warning. Unhelpful, curt employee when trying to renew our service over the phone. Cancelling immediately and going back to @Rogers. This is ridiculous.

  • michaelaaerin michaela (@michaelaaerin) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps cable and internet down in M5A

  • TorontoVince Traveling & Tasting Vince (@TorontoVince) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps We were told it was an outage that would end at 851pm. That time passed and we have no internet m. Arghhhhhhhhh

  • liom79 Cesar (@liom79) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps the @ symbol is flashing in the Coda (1 Gb modem). WestonFinch Area... damn it.

  • JeremyLegat Jeremy Legat (@JeremyLegat) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Stay away from @BellMediaPR — hidden charges and monthly service amount just jumped with no warning. Unhelpful, curt employee when trying to renew our service over the phone. Cancelling immediately and going back to @Rogers. This is ridiculous.

  • BrianPrashad Brian Prashad (@BrianPrashad) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps That doesn't make sense. The same show on the same channel at the same time every day ie. the news sometimes has restart available sometimes doesn't. Can't be a content rights issue.

  • BrianPrashad Brian Prashad (@BrianPrashad) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@MaryWetton @RogersHelps Oh believe me I know. If only Bell and Rogers could mash together the best parts of their tv/internet offerings it would be great. Never going to happen. So round and round we go

  • skingstone sheryl kingstone (@skingstone) reported from Vaughan, Ontario

I’m ready to cancel all our services @RogersHelps I want answers as to why our internet drops throughout the day. I have a request into support. I’m watching my text for an answer. We’ve had a few too many street wide outages. It also drops intermittently.

  • PrivacyCDN John Wunderlich (@PrivacyCDN) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Yet another fail by @Rogers. Woke up to find workers digging a trench in the front to run a line to the neighbour. No notice, no consideration. Rogers: “We’re not happy until the customer’s not happy.” Mission accomplished.

  • Joe_Mazzei Joe Mazzei (@Joe_Mazzei) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Rogers is internet down in North york

  • kiranjoyv Kiran Varughese (@kiranjoyv) reported from Vaughan, Ontario

@YRP @AMBERAlertONT You spend millions of taxpayer dollars to set up any system to help the community. Not burden it. Its also clear there was no coordination with @TELUS, @Bell, @Rogers, etc when developing the system since same message is delivered different number of times for different providers

  • liom79 Cesar (@liom79) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps please, let ppl know about this issue. I have calling 3 times today to “Techs” in Rogers (even in Halifax, who had no clue). Still no “hi” (fee) speed Internet...

  • jessikatzish Jess Club 7 (@jessikatzish) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Rogers has the worst customer service ever I am SO over it. thank you for absolutely nothing. this is the most disappointing and awful treatment.

  • myonlinelifenow Lanrick Bennett Jr. (@myonlinelifenow) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@dmrider @BlueJays @Rogers @Brookfield_BPY @joe_cressy #OntarioPlace or the #PortLands flip a coin. Though we do have that bridge problem on Cherry St 😳

Speaking to @RogersHelps "customer service" is the true test of patience.

  • KAS89678718 KAS (@KAS89678718) reported

@Rogers It’s sept and I finally got the fiasco July outage credit. 1 day ! I was told 5 days ! They gave me 1 day ! I lost business that’s day ! Every step of the way has been painful with Rogers.

  • jamo0625 John Amoroso (@jamo0625) reported

@RogersHelps I just hate you Rogers. I’ve never hated an organization more than I hate YOU! 😞 You cause me the greatest amount of stress that no amount of therapy will ever help! 🤬

  • Dadwith1Pack Dadwith1Pack (@Dadwith1Pack) reported

@JCautec @DanielVyner @Rogers Not sure what the point is? There are many factors that come into play, I never said population density and ratio were the only considerations.

  • Albirdly2 Albirdly (Doctor Science, Professional Expert) (@Albirdly2) reported

@DanielVyner @Rogers The old Trudeau magic at getting us reduced cell phone rates, working like a charm I see. If Canadians are STUPID enough to pay those obscene rates the so be it. What is the ACTUAL cost of "text"? A: Whatever they say it is.

  • gordoooo_z My name is Gordo (@gordoooo_z) reported

@RogersHelps I think you misunderstood. My TV isn't down, I just don't have Ignite TV on my plan; just Ignite internet. While you're here though, can you confirm that the issues with Ignite Internet in Mississauga are solved as well?

  • KyvSarah Sarah.k (@KyvSarah) reported

@DanielVyner @Rogers Yup, literally just bought a sim Card in Istanbul and popped it in, $25 CAD for one months data and calling and no issues with service or data. Was amazed but saddened at how much we pay in Canada.

  • Kristamich1 LoverofLiberty (@Kristamich1) reported

    @DanielVyner @Rogers And yet,,,,,,,,,, **** @Rogers.

  • CindyRossi77 Cindy Rossi (@CindyRossi77) reported

@RogersHelps I was told earlier the problem would be looked at Tuesday or Wednesday. Then I got this voice mail. The problem is at your end, not mine.

  • HareBlix Hare Blix (@HareBlix) reported

@RogersHelps Okay but it's going to end the same way: "all the routers in your area show the same weak upload signal. We will escalate this and let you know when the issue is resolved" 🤷
