@RogersHelps I replied to a message from the prior issue and haven't heard from that person yet but I only sent the email Friday.

  • sheldonbk Sheldon Kerzner (@sheldonbk) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Is there a Rogers TV/Internet outage in Toronto now. Our TV froze and won't reboot and lights are out on the modem @RogersHelps

  • sheldonbk Sheldon Kerzner (@sheldonbk) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Ani1u7 @Rogers @Bell @TELUS I have a sharing plan that's grandfathered so extra lines are cheap. We never go over 10GB combined but I like the cushion. I always bought phones outright but not last time and now flagships are crazy$. Approx $100/mo w/add ons (voice to text vcmail, etc).

  • nbellotoronto nicolas bello (@nbellotoronto) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@nxtom @BTtoronto Lol. We only have @Rogers TV because it's included with rent. Otherwise I'd never pay for TV, especially not that company. #cordcutting

  • Creeperry_R6 Ryan (@Creeperry_R6) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Holy Shit @Rogers @RogersHelps What ******** (A thread) It’s been a week. On Saturday night you told us it would be fixed within the hour On Monday night you told us it would be fixed by 6:30pm that night On Tuesday night you told us it would be fixed by Thursday at the latest

  • CS_sean Sean Smith (@CS_sean) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps your mobile site is next to useless. It won't let me login

  • ConsumerSOS Seán O’Shea (@ConsumerSOS) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@tweetsforteetz @dmac_79 @RogersHelps Sorry, but the account is in my wife’s different sir name. And I don’t typically pull up my job in my customer service intersections. I’ve done enough bad Rogers stories in my career. I also believe in crediting good/great service where I find it.

  • Lisa_Travel_Now Lisa Booth, Travel Beyond the Ordinary (@Lisa_Travel_Now) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Rogers, sent a collection ltr via Canada Post for my parents overdue home phone. I NEVER rec'd an invoice! Apparently invoices were changed to online from paper & sent to an unmonitored Rogers email without the POAs concurrence!!!

  • rogerwsingh Roger Singh (@rogerwsingh) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps repeated problems on my internet connection over the last week or so. Your site says service is fine. I have to use my cell to send this

  • sheldonbk Sheldon Kerzner (@sheldonbk) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps As I suspected, another waste of time although @RogersHelps always tries and is friendly here. Too bad @Rogers has lost its competitive edge

  • videoguy416 Video Guy (@videoguy416) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Rogers would be great customer service if you let neighborhoods kjow that their services will be interrupted because some of us depend on the internet to work. #fail

  • ConsumerSOS Seán O’Shea (@ConsumerSOS) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@tweetsforteetz @dmac_79 @RogersHelps And almost every rep has discretion. Almost. Meaning if a consumer is a jerk—game over. Be respectful: chances of great service improve. My experience.

  • ConsumerSOS Seán O’Shea (@ConsumerSOS) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@dmac_79 @RogersHelps I have generally good fortune with customer service reps everywhere. Polite persistence is sometimes the reason. Or just luck.

  • ghlake Linda Bowser (@ghlake) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps Nonsense. I'm not the only one. Just issue credits to everyone

  • MarkOrlan Mark Orlan (@MarkOrlan) reported from Toronto, Ontario

.@Rogers don’t give me free services that I don’t really need! 😠 Give me free extra bandwidth for all the videoconferencing going in my home right now to support me in my work, my wife with her business, and my daughter in her end-of-term classes. #LockdownCanada

  • MesmorizedTTV 🅼🅴🆉 (@MesmorizedTTV) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Ive been having some crazy latency issues the past week @Rogers assures me everything is good. But every game I have is unplayable due to unreasonably high ping. Most videos I watch buffer for minutes at a time, why am I paying for your best internet package. SMFH

  • fitfabdiver Vicki Ashton Ricciardi (@fitfabdiver) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps WiFi service has been mostly out all day plus part of last night. TV keeps blacking out. I've been trying to work from home today and it's very frustrating. Acct: 416613347

  • gmansilla GM (@gmansilla) reported from Toronto, Ontario

    @RogersHelps internet down. Again. :(

  • ghlake Linda Bowser (@ghlake) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Remarkably unsatisfactory dm with @Rogers cable. Snarky service, going in circles. I just dont want to pay for sports when I'm not seeing any. Limited income (need to keep very sick dh busy and happy)

  • ConsumerSOS Seán O’Shea (@ConsumerSOS) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Because there’s lots of good service @RogersHelps too: I got through to Rogers tech help on phone in 2 minutes. Agents were great. I needed (to pay for) a new PVR. The two reps at the King Street East store were smart, thorough, fast and friendly. One’s also a viewer. Thanks!

Rogers Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • rshrop1 Northern Accent (@rshrop1) reported

@Rogers Hey Rogers. “Technical errors” on your website preventing subscriptions to SNO to watch #torontobluejays ? Guess dependability isn’t a label you should claim just yet.

  • redslewnninja VeinZ (@redslewnninja) reported

Why are @Rogers 4K channels absolute garbage? Always stutters like crazy. I never watch them. It’s damn near in slow motion. It’s been like this for years. Apparently they upgraded my neighbourhood last week… made no difference. Pay for 1 GB download speeds. I get 30-40 MB.

  • bds28 Brandon (@bds28) reported

Game package options have mostly gotten worse every year since @Rogers took over the #NHL rights. Every year is different and more confusing. I wish the @NHL would just keep it simple & let us buy the rights from them. Why are Canadians lesser value customers? Horrible @PR_NHL

  • ChrisNarduzzi Chris Narduzzi (@ChrisNarduzzi) reported

This is what you get when you sign up for @Sportsnet #premium and no it's not the internet connection. Everything else works except for this ****** ******* app. I guess @Rogers cell service isnt the only unreliable portion of their telecommunications service.

  • ericthebeardo Eric J. (@ericthebeardo) reported

@Rogers @BlueJays Playing backyard ball with my uncles and poppa. Nothing better and they made me (a 7 year kid in a broken home) feel like I was a superstar

  • pkirkpatrick Peter Kirkpatrick (@pkirkpatrick) reported

Hey @Rogers, that customer box at the @BlueJays game looks pretty sweet. I’d love to see it in person! Signed a loyal Rogers customer / Jays fan.

  • TheGeesus Steve Kleyer (@TheGeesus) reported

The @Rogers commercials running right now are garbage. If Rogers or Bell & Telus for that matter REALLY cared about Canadians, they would bring their prices down to what other developed countries pay.

  • Se7en_Secrets 🔞 Se7en Secrets 🤫 (@Se7en_Secrets) reported

@RogersHelps At this point the technical issues in my area will require a rogers technician to actually preform work and replace the shotty lines my neighbors and I are connected to. I was just making sure people knew the risks of using Rogers and working from home as Rogers will do nothing!

  • Mcneil702 LIQUORACCI 🇨🇦🇨🇦 (@Mcneil702) reported

@RogersHelps I’ve already spoken with someone on the phone. Here’s my experience with Rogers so far.. first three days of buying your service my router wouldn’t connect. Paid my first month of $134 even though I didn’t have internet for the first three days…

  • AndrewPeters01 Take down the Russian Regime 🇺🇦 (@AndrewPeters01) reported

I understand that people hate big companies like @Rogers @Bell and @VirginPlus but seriously can we stop taking our anger and hate out on Customer Service Representatives?
