@RogersHelps One would expect hourly updates. What % of internet customers still don't have service?

  • LurphyOG Lurphy Lorrigan (@LurphyOG) reported

@WCoaster77 @thevivafrei @Rogers That isn't because of competition. Interac should have redundant networks (most backbones and corp connections aren't even running on Rogers network). That's a failure of interac - their credit card competitors did fine.

@RogersHelps My home internet came back on about midnight last night, but then when I woke up this morning it was down again

@RogersHelps @Rogers As a customer I would like an explanation for the prolonged outage please? I don't know who your PR people are but they need sacking. It is insulting to give shallow apologies with no factual details.

@thevivafrei @Rogers What ever or who ever caused the outage, we know government will fix it with more rules and regulations, um, oh yeah, for your safety and world peace.🙃

@pollyhfx46 @RogersHelps Its not just about wifi, phone lines were down. Think of how many people died yesterday cause they couldn’t get through to 911.

    What's the point of 5G when basic level **** can't be done properly @RogersHelps @rogers .

  • Hendy111 I Don't PC (@Hendy111) reported

So @Rogers has fixed the issue that caused the day long outage but can’t/won’t say what the cause was. I smell a huge dead rat. Typical shady slimy lying corporation.

  • Dr_PNL Paul Nesbitt-Larking (@Dr_PNL) reported

The @Rogers response to the service collapse yesterday was a master class in how not to do customer service. Key takeaways: 1. Cliches instead of explanations 2. Inadequate information 3. A public spokesperson looking bored, distracted, faintly annoyed at being questioned
