Joey Prefontaine (@northshorejoey) reported@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers My recent call had this woman who didn't speak English, couldn't enunciate her words and mumbled. When you take Jobs away from Canadians in Canada and move your call center to countries that pay less to save money will never have customer service.
-
Crash Harris (@crashharrisad) reported@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Due to the poor performance of Canada it's very difficult to be 100% Canadian and be competitive. The over regulation and Government tax system the only way to survive never mind being profitable you need outside help. Our own PM doesn't invest in Canada. How can any one else?
-
Geoffrey Trueman Falk (@geoffreyfalk) reported@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers CRTC is a total "Old Boys' Club," controlled by ex-telecom industry executives. They are there to help their buddies and their stock portfolios, not consumers. That is why Canadians pay 3-4x more for cell phone and Internet service than consumers in the US.

Gry Phyn (@LGBMike) reported@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Used to work in call centre's and I can answer this. Lower wages. Cheaper to have phone support in countries that pay WAY LESS THAN CANADA. 2/hour in many places.
-
Mertecracker (@JWatson42) reported@RogersHelps I am trying to dispute some charges for US roaming. I was told a block had been put on the account when I had the same issue last year, but it appears more got through again later. I've never visited the US during the timeframe but was working an hour or so from the border.
-
Jason Boring (@JasonBoring99) reported@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Telus is just as bad plus most of their technicians are from India, completely useless and no troubleshooting skills
-
Reece (@Teecehere) reported@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Bell also - when I changed providers I thought I was being scammed because the customer service rep sounded nervous. I asked her 'what location she was working from' and she said The Philippines.
-
Lady Centrist (@ladycentrist) reported@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Called last week, on hold 1hr 25mins. Agent did not resolve issue. Its absurd and unacceptable that Canadians are held hostages by these telecoms. They have no problem taking exorbitant fees from us but have issues providing the service that go along with the cost @FP_Champagne.
-
GrumpyOldMan (@NotElonEither) reported@NavdeepSBains We're you the COO of @Rogers when the Brampton call centre was outsourced to other countries including India/ Philippines? How does that help ontarians?
-
Deb Moynahan (@vanuckfan56) reported@Rogers @Rogershelps asking for updates on Bridgeport outage. Can’t sign into account. No service since Monday 8AM
