    @laurenrjacobs @RogersHelps While a regular mobile SIM might work in a Wireless Home Phone device, that would still be using its original mobile plan. If you wished the WHP service, you would need a new SIM dedicated for that service. It isn't possible to change the SIM's service type.

    @mikeszeller @Rogers The NEXT box was just plugged into the TV and a cable cord. The Xfinity doesn't work without connecting to Rogers Internet. I already have Bell internet. I'm not paying for a 2nd internet connection just to watch TV. That just seems like a cash-grab for cable-users only.

    @RogersHelps i called and asked to cancel my account at the end of the current billing cycle last month but you guys are still trying to charge me for the internet bill of this month, the modem is already on its way to be returned, whats the deal with this new scam?

    @RogersHelps yes I do. I'm still on hold. I set up a second mobile service on my account. I transferred the number to the new phone but the old provider (Fido - you/Rogers) does not have any confirmation that the number has been transferred to a new service provider.
