Cluster **** day 12 with the fabulous @Rogers customer service and support.... transferred to 3 different departments with no answer in sight. The only real help is the @RogersHelps twitter account but can I trust them at this point?

  • ChrisMurata Chris Murata (@ChrisMurata) reported from Parry Sound, Ontario

@Rogers My bad I thought this was a DM. Who do I reply to @Rogers helps

  • ChrisMurata Chris Murata (@ChrisMurata) reported from Parry Sound, Ontario

You speak to 4 different "customer relations" reps and no one can put proper notes in an account that should be done with no issues. @Rogers you wonder why your customers leave with bitter tastes in their mouth after trying to get an issue resolved. #noownership #notrenewing

  • ChrisMurata Chris Murata (@ChrisMurata) reported from Parry Sound, Ontario

@Rogers great customer service telling me I'm wrong about an account change that never should have happened. #terrible how hard is it to port a number from YOUR home phone service to another wireless number?

  • ChrisMurata Chris Murata (@ChrisMurata) reported from Parry Sound, Ontario

@Rogers All she wants to do is keep her number she has had for over 20 years. This should have been a simple porting why it became a cluster is beyond me... there are notes they have to contact Bell?? Why the number is on your network.

  • ChrisMurata Chris Murata (@ChrisMurata) reported from Parry Sound, Ontario

Hey @Rogers do you keep people waiting to speak to someone with some authority so they either give up and hang up or forget why they called. Great way to spend a Monday evening on hold for over an hour. #greatcustomerservice #pathetic #runaround

Rogers Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • mrfumblethumbs Brian Greiner (@mrfumblethumbs) reported

@jsopercook @Rogers The problem is too many so-called competitors want to piggyback on top of network built by Bell and Rogers. We need competitive physical networks, designed to be robust and failure-tolerant. Instead we have infrastructure built to maximize profits with minimal quality and service

  • ThroughShaking ShakingThrough (@ThroughShaking) reported

@RogersHelps @Rogers That is BS. Everyone I know still doesn’t have service.

  • Zach_Fleisher Zach Fleisher (@Zach_Fleisher) reported

.@RogersHelps employee: should we maybe wait for a few days to send some bills? Maybe throw in a bill credit? Corporate: nah, just bill em. What's the worst that could happen? @TELUSsupport if you've got a good deal I'm ready to switch.

  • SteveUrszenyi Steve Urszenyi (Ur-SAY-nee) (@SteveUrszenyi) reported

@linwood_barclay @Rogers Wow. We switched from Rogers to Bell for all things at home (incl. phone), and my cell service is Telus. I mean, there but by the Grace of God, and all that. 24 hours. Ew.

  • MammaGeeBear MammaGeeBear 🇨🇦 (@MammaGeeBear) reported

@RogersHelps more than 24 hours later and only cell data at home! No WiFi, no tv, no alarm, no landline. In Vaughan and getting ready to make the switch to someone that doesn’t charge a fortune for no service 🤬

  • sodagirl2point0 Campari Sodagirl (@sodagirl2point0) reported

@RogersHelps Very weak cell signal for me in downtown Montreal! I should have 5 bars strength on my iPhone, only have 1 or 2 bars at best! Will not pay for crappy service! @Rogers

  • Davidpero3 David Pero(Dj DSP) (@Davidpero3) reported

@chintanthakkar8 @RogersHelps We have been down for 3 days now. What the heck is going on?

  • andywalker Andy Walker (@andywalker) reported

Why scenario caused the @Rogers outage: 1) Hardware failure (unlikely, easy to fix) 2) Failed network server software update causing cascading failure (likely) 3) Cyber attack. (Nope, it would have been touted by Rogers execs) 4) Profit over product quality. (Yeah that's a given)

  • MeanMrWolf MstrWolf (@MeanMrWolf) reported

@RogersHelps Approaching 31 hours with out service.
