@RuralCom_UoG @Rogers @CBCAlerts They won't... they've already said they cannot afford that type of thing if forced to allow third-party providers on their network. There will be an excuse why it won't happen.

@Rogers Horrible idea. Will do everything I can to shoot it down.

  • IgorInSteeltown IgorCloseToSteeltown (@IgorInSteeltown) reported

@Rogers One corp buying another corp never leads to more competition. Never

  • DixonCoxe LP (@DixonCoxe) reported

@Rogers LOL!!! Coming together to squash the competition and ensure that Canadians continue to have the worst deals in the civilized world while your profit margins remain obscene. Thanks guys! On behalf of Canada! 👍

  • Jmacwillkillyou Jmac (@Jmacwillkillyou) reported

@Rogers The 6.5 Bill will have to be spent anyway and has nothing to do with the merger, the digital divide will go away but you just get to monopolize the solution. How does this increase competition? how many jobs will this cost? This is a terrible deal for Canadians.

  • AdamLockett34 Adam Lockett (@AdamLockett34) reported

@Rogers Fewer companies means LESS choice, chuckleheads. Terrible spin attempt.

  • Starfishlb starfishlb (@Starfishlb) reported

@CBCAlerts We all be ****** @Rogers sucks butt

  • MPM13C Marco (@MPM13C) reported

@Rogers And of COURSE, you're investing in the network. A crutch that will eventually be used in arguments when the government and CRTC review potential foreign business request to enter the Canadian market. Allowing monopolies before competition = consumer losses!
