Imagine a country that went from a leader in developing networking hardware (Nortel), to failing to keep a network turned on @Rogers We are a country that is asleep at the switch.

@vote4robgill @Rogers The least they should do it’s A Month free. Apart from not being able to use the service, I lost income on this very day.

@vote4robgill @Rogers Lessons learned. Hope for the best and plan for the worst! Always have a plan B. Keep cash on hand and think about having an old style land line. If your a business, keep a manual credit card machine on site. Technology can fail, being prepared can minimize the the problems.

@AboutRogers @Rogers After 20yrs with Rogers, I am furious with your generic letter addressing only a credit for Friday. Provide credits for those without service on Saturday & those with ongoing issues. Rogers knows when service resumed. No one has 3hrs to wait on a agent. Do better!

@RogersHelps Many other infrastructures and businesses were affected by a failed service, failed service that will cost people more than $3 of inconvenience. I'm sure your CFO understands since every dollar you save is more than a dollar we lost.

@JoshForGuelph @CheriDiNovo @Rogers Oh so I could have called 911 if we'd had an emergency here? I was kinda trying not to think about it so I wouldn't be sweating bullets and freaking out but it did occur to me that people could literally be dying.
