@RogersHelps But it's not a new service and it literally says I can get it via live chat at the link I shared. I'm keeping the same sim card and putting it into a new device and changing my plan, much like if I bought a new phone and wanted a new plan. This is so frustrating.

Is it just me or @Rogers has become really horrible with customer service. Was on chat for over 2 hours twice in one day and both times the chat ended when my turn was due. Tried calling them but was on hold for over 2 hours. Maybe it is time to let go of them & look elsewhere.

@andrewinereview @Rogers @rcmpgrcpolice STIR/SHAKEN does not catch these because the calls come in over offshore VoIP that bypasses Canadian carrier attestation. A DNS blocker on the home router catches the follow-up step: when the caller texts a link to a fake Service Canada page, the page refuses to load.

@RogersHelps are you guys down ? I am literally on high way and had to pull over since I had no directions

@laurenrjacobs @RogersHelps While a regular mobile SIM might work in a Wireless Home Phone device, that would still be using its original mobile plan. If you wished the WHP service, you would need a new SIM dedicated for that service. It isn't possible to change the SIM's service type.

@DaleDisill @MapleLeafs @Rogers No I didn't LMFAO I said they don't give a **** about some random people on twitter wanting them to sell their part of the Leafs

@tobi @Rogers A silent carrier update breaking hotspot with zero release notes, discovered while stuck in traffic — that's a genuinely terrible way to find out. Carrier software QA is some of the worst in the industry precisely because customers have nowhere else to go.
