@JayGenXer @Rogers Try live chat. I think you get a person that can actually communicate in English. Most allow you to print out the entire chat at the end & you can yell at your screen if they say something stupid without worry. Only way I do it now. Faster too.

@RogersHelps Is there an internet outage in Edmonton? We're in the west end.

I'm aware that this is a trivial problem but why is it that @Rogers has men calling me every single day trying to sell me something when I am on the 'do not call' list and repeatedly demand they stop. #Rogers #Telemarketing

@RogersHelps The problem is that you don’t offer support anymore, you are NOT the same company anymore

@RogersHelps Too late for that… I stayed on hold for over an hour and finally had someone help me! Your company responses are too slow and wait times are too long. There needs to be some drastic changes

@RogersHelps I’ve been trying to get through to someone on the phone for 3 days and the system keeps telling me to call back. The automated chat on your website can’t help. What kind of customer service is this??

@RogersHelps, this may be one of the worst customer support experiences I've ever had. I ordered a SECOND internet service for a new house. Rogers shipped me an XB8. It wouldn't connect. Technical support eventually figured out that Rogers provisioned the new modem against the WRONG address. Great. Simple backend mistake. Should be easy to fix, right? Nope. Yesterday: 45 minutes waiting for phone support before giving up. Today: hours dealing with support. Technical Support diagnoses the problem, then transfers me to Customer Care. Customer Care tells me they can't access the account and sends me BACK to the same phone number. I ask for the account number I'll need when I call. They give me an old account number and tell me it's associated with an address in Surrey, BC. Except MyRogers shows that exact account number as my CURRENT internet service in Waterloo. Eventually they find another account ending in the same four digits as the new service agreement — but can't even confirm the service address and tell me to call the “specialist team.” All I need is for Rogers to associate the modem THEY SHIPPED with the internet service THEY CREATED at the address ON THEIR OWN SERVICE AGREEMENT. I've spent hours trying to find a human being with permission to fix what appears to be a Rogers provisioning error. How is this a reasonable customer experience in 2026?
