Winter driving is miserable and slow enough as it is. Couldn't do it in the summer when everyone is on vacation and parking lots outnumber people.

They keep our rates cheap & their roaming is the best bet going in Canadaโฆ literally flips to whichever carrier has the best signal at any given moment (Rogers/Bell/Telus), in my experience.

Greg Bamford๐บ๐ฆ (@Drofmab) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan@cstewartyqr Yeah - my issue was twofold: - I either had to transfer my Bell contracts to SaskTel, or buy-out nearly 2 years remaining with Bell; and - Rogersโ coverage was (still is) exceptionally limited in Sask. Cities, and major highways. Not viable for my use.

Just call me....Duff (@jim_duffus) reported@ExnerPirot I'll fill you on this Heather. I've been a Sasktel customer for my Home, Business, internet and cell phone FOREVER. I've never once tried to price out other companies WHY? My kids, and other close relatives constantly are jumping for one company to another and constantly complain about service prices etc etc when they leave. I've never had an issue with Sasktel that caused me reason to leave. Customer service still counts as first priority for many people.

SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reportedSaskTel service outage impacting Whitecap Dakota First Nation and other communities May 27, 2026 โ SaskTel is currently experiencing a service outage impacting Internet, Wireless, and Landline (SaskTel Home and Business Phone) services in and around Whitecap Dakota First Nation, Pike Lake, Gledhow and the surrounding areas. SaskTel technicians have been dispatched to resolve the outage, however, there currently is no estimated time of repair. SaskTel would like to apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause for customers and thank them for their patience while we work to restore services as quickly as possible. In the event of an emergency, residents in and around the community will need to physically contact their nearest emergency services for assistance.

The tower is located out of town. It didnโt work in Meadow Lake, Loon Lake or Goodsoil until they put towers right in town. I was A TST for 38 years.
