Greg Bamford๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ (@Drofmab) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@cdnbeer Oh, donโ€™t get me wrong - Iโ€™m a SaskTel diehard (for mobile - nothing else) in Canada. They keep our rates cheap & their roaming is the best bet going in Canadaโ€ฆ literally flips to whichever carrier has the best signal at any given moment (Rogers/Bell/Telus), in my experience.

  • EscapeGirl1960
shari nichols (@EscapeGirl1960) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@SaskTel OMG the chat is soooo slow! Gave up on trying to connect.

  • joesafety33
KM (@joesafety33) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@SaskTel @SaskTelSupport Well, considering I sent the original message on Thursday and u replied on Friday might give u a hint of my customer service experience! Yes I finally got thru, 50 minutes of waiting! And a twitter reply the day after! Brutal service!

I got yet another of these annoying messages โ€œMailbox Storage Limit This is to notify you that your incoming emails are returned due to reaching your storage limit.โ€ ย  To avoid losing your emails, please click on the link below: Why canโ€™t @SaskTel block this crap

  • MarkTheBrewer
Mark Heise (@MarkTheBrewer) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@QuickDickMcDick @SaskTel As someone who was responsible for those rural networks, I can tell you SaskTel invested a fortune in them. And often exec govt footed the bill to bring better service into an area. There is no way a private company would have done the same. But ya, the service still sucks.

How come November 2021 rotten fleshed came into place. The wasted part is I had big problems and no idea how I know what death smells like but sure look it up. So what really going on is why have did I sence alot? Went clean up. Still reading. So males gotta explain about sasktel

  • regina_grandma

@SaskTelSupport Sasktel email is not working. Webmail also gives a black screen requiring forced shutdown. Any problems you are aware of to advise if I should just wait this out? #yqr

  • MarkTheBrewer
Mark Heise (@MarkTheBrewer) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@QuickDickMcDick @SaskTel In the same breath, I remember one prov park had terrible service every summer. They thought it was oversubscribed. I finally dug into it and discovered a govt computer would get turned on every summer that was full of viruses & killed service for everyone.

  • alexYQR
Alex (@alexYQR) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@ctvregina This will harm @SaskTelโ€™s residential business more than it saves it money. Sasktel will need to pay for additional support staff to assist customers, as well as deal with the fallout resulting in the general distaste in the province for what people feel are unnecessary fees.

  • alexYQR
Alex (@alexYQR) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

Remember that one time when the @SaskParty tried charging everyone in the Province for a bad email service, and then decided against it ( after public outage ), forcing @SaskTel to take blame and hoped everyone forgot about it? That was a funny week. #skpoli

  • DwayneMihalicz
Big D Outdoors (@DwayneMihalicz) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@rgchernick @SaskTel My cousin was saying they have had trouble on and off all day.

  • keelinlouttit
Keelin Louttit (@keelinlouttit) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

After many internet glitches & @zoom_us interruptions, @SaskTel has come to the conclusion the only way to fix it is to send a technician over. The soonest someone can come is MAY 1. O.K. but what about my group assignments & online classes ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

  • alexYQR
Alex ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐ŸŒพ (@alexYQR) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@zaheedonism @SaskTel Honestly itโ€™s hard/impossible to hit gigabit via wifi on devices not hard-wired or wireless AX. Wifi 6e might fix that this year. The 500mbit upload is incredible

  • mclean_brad
Brad mclean (@mclean_brad) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

So I just downloaded the sasktel max tv streaming app and I love it! Really good quality with no lag and accesss to all my max channels on my iPhone or iPad. I found tsn go video quality and sound was poor, this is ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  • LilTimmyF
LilTimmyF (@LilTimmyF) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@JaniceOwen @SaskTel Well mine sure didn't. LOL One guy was here moved the modem. I suggested maybe the problem was the modem. He shrugged it off. I called the next day and the guy said.......the modem was out dated.

  • kevink61
Kevin Korchinski (@kevink61) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@Sasktel I know these spam calls are hard to stop but nearly 20 between 2 phones in a day is a bit much. Something we can all do to help you stop them?

  • Integrality
Garth Pickard (@Integrality) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@Alex__Stoddart I totally agree Alex and support โ€˜#wholehealthโ€™. #Mind, #Body, and #Spirit. Considering this โ€˜slick and subliminal company marketing approach, Iโ€™m still sticking with #Sasktel and not switching to #BellCanada.

  • JenniferLh1234
jennifer L hatcher (@JenniferLh1234) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

Who has voices? Drinking coffee and chores and no sleep. Why voices telling me to leave. Seriously why have sasktel leads to the front? Mail. Really experience voices and I am gonna freak out. Linger outside and indoors. Death smells and rotten fleshed. Wtf front.

  • ppaczko
Pete Paczko (@ppaczko) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@mickpanko @SaskTelSupport @SaskTel Iโ€™m on Access, but I have that issue pretty often. The rebroadcast signal from TSN is choppy, while the original feed from whichever U.S. network is fine. Annoying.

  • latesh140
latesh (@latesh140) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@indulgentcory @SaskTel I agree 5gb unlimited canada wide on bell cost me $65 and if I look at @SaskTel it cost $80+ . We want to support our local companies but not at our cost.

    Jim Pratt (@JimPrat97487282) reported

@bgdoane @SaskTel On a neighbors farm you can see the cell tower 6 miles straight north and they have no service in their yard. It's not going to be long until we all will be using starlink phones and cell towers will go the way of the party line IMO

  • swooper74
    Trevor Miller (@swooper74) reported

@TheTorontoSun SaskTel is the reason Saskatchewan residents have the lowest telecom bills in the country, and you're talking as if a national Crown Corp doing the same thing would be bad for working Canadians?

  • SimonKaos
    Gord Radcliffe (@SimonKaos) reported

@SaskTelSupport You ought to be f&$kin embarrassed. No service for 22 hrs now?! This is not some cut line bs, this is a software issue! Think about it. YouTube still works but nothing else?!? They crashed all DNS data. Sasktel caused this, not something outside.

  • SaskTelSupport
    SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reported

SaskTel would like to apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause for customers and thank them for their patience while we work to restore services as quickly as possible. #skoutage

  • LyleYou30525717
    Lyle Young (@LyleYou30525717) reported

@WayneMantykaCTV @BradWall306 Keep your head down Sasktel. Youโ€™re about to experience the same vacuum as Manitoba Tel; another Bell Company.

  • RCMPSK
    RCMP Saskatchewan (@RCMPSK) reported

1/2 #RCMPSK advises residents of northwest Sask. to visit your local RCMP detachment if in need of assistance during overnight SaskTel outage.

  • DTSaskatoon
    Douglas Tompson (@DTSaskatoon) reported

@carytarasoffyxe @LaraFominoff Lies, dam lies and statistics. When someone set fire to a mattress in the alley and burned down a power pole, the SaskTel Repair Team explained that it was arson. I contacted the police to offer my CCTV footage with the start time, I was told it was a wiring fault. Hilarious!

  • SaskTelSupport
    SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reported

@BarbQuinney Hi Barb. I don't see any outages in your area. Please call technical support team at 1-800-SASKTEL and someone can help you get your Internet up & running.

  • J_0aks
    JOaks (@J_0aks) reported

@alexmarz @SaskTel @Telesat Yes they should definitely wait, continue to use extremely slow or no internet, because using starlink hurts some trollโ€™s feelings. Starlink has been a game changer for people whoโ€™ve never had access to real high speed internet. No one will choose to pay more $$ for Telesat.

@TravisIanPater2 His tweet is ignorant at best and deliberately misleading at the worst. Everyone knows the CBC is a crown corp. Nothing was "exposed" here. It would be like Sasktel, labelled a government funded utility. He acting like its some sort of "gotcha" moment when its not.
