Mark Heise (@MarkTheBrewer) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan@QuickDickMcDick @SaskTel I would get often get quotes to improve service, clients would essentially "**** a cat" over the quote, and then we would go round and round until govt eventually found the money to foot the bill themselves.
-
M πΊπ¦ (@habpipes) reported from Regina, SaskatchewanDid they sell the Sasktel phone lists to con artists to pay down some of the debt?
-
Alex π¨π¦πΎ (@alexYQR) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan@zaheedonism @SaskTel Honestly itβs hard/impossible to hit gigabit via wifi on devices not hard-wired with wireless AX. Wifi 6e might fix that this year. The 500mbit upload is incredible

KM (@joesafety33) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan@SaskTel Hey, I ported a phone from a competitor to sasktel, no incoming calls on my phone now, been with tech support for 60 minutes now, no resolution! Paid $40 activation fee for no service! Brutal, can I get some help! Or should I just switch back to a national provider!
-
Mark Heise (@MarkTheBrewer) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan@QuickDickMcDick @SaskTel As someone who was responsible for those rural networks, I can tell you SaskTel invested a fortune in them. And often exec govt footed the bill the bring better service into an area. There is no way a private company would have done the same. But ya, the service still sucks.

jennifer L hatcher (@JenniferLh1234) reported from Regina, SaskatchewanIt feel like I can not say anything on the media. Community service experience alot of how I feel. It's landlord place and tenants insurance and government 775.00 a month. So hide sasktel and realize how much money.
-
jennifer L hatcher (@JenniferLh1234) reported from Regina, SaskatchewanBeing perniod and social anxiety. Why would I harm people or anyone or myself. Hearing loss as right ear is going. Toddler ears. -
Dan (@danisdriven) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan@RealTenille @SaskTel Yup! They 'care' in words but not in actual action. I called in about our business account as our gym closed more than a month ago. The rep basically laughed at me when I asked for some financial help of a deferral during these times.
-
Krysta Konachowicz (@HiGirlFriday) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan@SaskTel @SaskTelSupport please log that customer input on the new MaxTV set up is terrible. You are not Netflix. Who actually curates their titles and has an easy to use search function. Noone wants to go through 8 billion titles you have left forever and just made worse.
-

Alex (@alexYQR) reported from Regina, SaskatchewanRemember that one time when the @SaskParty tried charging everyone in the Province for a bad email service, and then decided against it ( after public outage ), forcing @SaskTel to take blame and hoped everyone forgot about it? That was a funny week. #skpoli

Greg BamfordπΊπ¦ (@Drofmab) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan@cstewartyqr Yeah - my issue was twofold: - I either had to transfer my Bell contracts to SaskTel, or buy-out nearly 2 years remaining with Bell; and - Rogersβ coverage was (still is) exceptionally limited in Sask. Cities, and major highways. Not viable for my use.

Brad mclean (@mclean_brad) reported from Regina, SaskatchewanNice test on sasktel max just now π And βdonβt contact sasktel support β πππππ

Actual speeds and coverage may vary due to the device being used, network congestion, distance from the cell site, and local conditions. Unfortunately there could be some spotty areas along highways where population is sparse as well.

Jason Jankoski (@jjjankoski) reported@ExnerPirot @BramRecorder I agree, our prices in SK are in the ball park, if not a little higher. What Sasktel does do is invest more in infrastructure for our vast rural areas than regular providers would. I'm OK to pay a "little" more for that and we support them for that reason.

-
Chris Michelon (@MichelonChris) reported@SaskTel And without Starlink, this would have never happened.
