They keep our rates cheap & their roaming is the best bet going in Canadaโฆ literally flips to whichever carrier has the best signal at any given moment (Rogers/Bell/Telus), in my experience.

And often exec govt footed the bill the bring better service into an area. There is no way a private company would have done the same. But ya, the service still sucks.

So if the reason is that the coverage canโt cross the border then why do we pay for service that does not exist
