@SaskTel @SaskTelSupport Well, considering I sent the original message on Thursday and u replied on Friday might give u a hint of my customer service experience! Yes I finally got thru, 50 minutes of waiting! And a twitter reply the day after! Brutal service!

  • ppaczko
Pete Paczko (@ppaczko) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@mickpanko @SaskTelSupport @SaskTel I’m on Access, but I have that issue pretty often. The rebroadcast signal from TSN is choppy, while the original feed from whichever U.S. network is fine. Annoying.

@indulgentcory @SaskTel I agree 5gb unlimited canada wide on bell cost me $65 and if I look at @SaskTel it cost $80+ . We want to support our local companies but not at our cost.

@Sasktel I know these spam calls are hard to stop but nearly 20 between 2 phones in a day is a bit much. Something we can all do to help you stop them?

  • LilTimmyF
LilTimmyF (@LilTimmyF) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@JaniceOwen @SaskTel Well mine sure didn't. LOL One guy was here moved the modem. I suggested maybe the problem was the modem. He shrugged it off. I called the next day and the guy said.......the modem was out dated.

  • keelinlouttit
Keelin Louttit (@keelinlouttit) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

After many internet glitches & @zoom_us interruptions, @SaskTel has come to the conclusion the only way to fix it is to send a technician over. The soonest someone can come is MAY 1. O.K. but what about my group assignments & online classes 😭😭😭😭😭

  • DwayneMihalicz
Big D Outdoors (@DwayneMihalicz) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@rgchernick @SaskTel My cousin was saying they have had trouble on and off all day.

  • joesafety33
KM (@joesafety33) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@SaskTel Hey, I ported a phone from a competitor to sasktel, no incoming calls on my phone now, been with tech support for 60 minutes now, no resolution! Paid $40 activation fee for no service! Brutal, can I get some help! Or should I just switch back to a national provider!

  • Safimod
Stephen S (@Safimod) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

If you're having issues with @SaskTel data - switch your mobile data network from LTE/WCDMA/GSM to WCDMA/GSM They are having issues with their LTE network

  • mclean_brad
Brad mclean (@mclean_brad) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@TweetlessT12 I’ve set my filter to high and still doesn’t help. Sasktel is incapable of filtering this garbage🤬

  • danisdriven
Dan (@danisdriven) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@RealTenille @SaskTel Yup! They 'care' in words but not in actual action. I called in about our business account as our gym closed more than a month ago. The rep basically laughed at me when I asked for some financial help of a deferral during these times.

Sasktel Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • cinnyvs
    Cindy Lou Who (@cinnyvs) reported

@SKSirrom @forsyth_barb I use Sasktel email because, in the past, it proved to be more reliable than the service provided by my web host. I don't want to switch but this has happened a lot.

  • Drofmab
Greg Bamford🇺🇦 (@Drofmab) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@cstewartyqr Yeah - my issue was twofold: - I either had to transfer my Bell contracts to SaskTel, or buy-out nearly 2 years remaining with Bell; and - Rogers’ coverage was (still is) exceptionally limited in Sask. Cities, and major highways. Not viable for my use.

  • huddy306
    Huddy (@huddy306) reported

@RealTenille Certainly isn’t specific to SaskTel. Think Bell or Rogers gonna treat you better? That being said they usually waive it once so not sure why that isn’t being done here.

  • LozzieSK
    Marc L (@LozzieSK) reported

Like it’s a $35 talk and text plan. Does @SaskTel not have any sort of alarms that an account is building up hundreds worth of added service charges? What 12 year old isn’t going to send stupid memes or use emojis?

  • DrDSM2
    DrDSM (@DrDSM2) reported

@forsyth_barb It amuses me that the Sasktel spam filter thinks City of Saskatoon emails, like the garbage pick up reminders are spam.

  • KaraThrace13
    Kara Thrace (@KaraThrace13) reported

@SaskTel So that's a no. That's cool though; we bought the pixel phones outright so we're not tied to sasktel now. We were thinking of going to Bell anyway because they support the pixel watch. And it looks like our bill will go down too. Thanks for making the decision easier!

  • bernie8859
    John B 🌻🍺👨🏻‍🍳💉💉💉💉 (@bernie8859) reported

@MondoAlberta @therealwoodsbre @JFCnotagain The devil bargain that originally covered telecomm in Canada was: offer service to anyone who wants it at a reasonable price in exchange for assured profit. This was regardless of private (Bell, BCTel) or utilities (AGT, SaskTel, etc). Deregulation f**ked that up.

  • cstewartyqr
    Colin Stewart (@cstewartyqr) reported

@Drofmab Rogers coverage tanked when SaskTel switched from CDMA to 4G. I remember coming home from Canora when they changed over. Used to have service in Fort Qu'Appelle, but after the change, no service until I got into the city.

  • BecomingKelsey
𝙆𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙚𝙮 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙩 💕 (@BecomingKelsey) reported

@SizeSeven750LI I haven't used any SaskTel service in nearly a decade... Is there some area they need more competition? I think the whole mobility arena needs more competition but I am not dependent on SaskTel for anything. 👍🏼

  • cstewartyqr
    Colin Stewart (@cstewartyqr) reported

@Drofmab That's a good deal, I'd say. I've been reasonably happy on SaskTel. The only issues I have with them are coverage along the borders, and the fact that they dropped Visual Voicemail (I have an iPhone) entirely when their provider had a "technical issue".
