And often exec govt footed the bill the bring better service into an area. There is no way a private company would have done the same. But ya, the service still sucks.

Cities, and major highways. Not viable for my use.

SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reported10:45 PM: A planned SaskTel outage will occur on March 11, from midnight to approximately 6:00 a.m., while crews complete permanent fibre repairs related to last yearโs wildfire damage. During this window, Internet, wireless, and landline (home and business) services will be unavailable across multiple Northeast Saskatchewan communities, including Sandy Bay, Brabant Lake, Geikie River, Wollaston Lake, Black Lake, Key Lake, McArthur River, Cigar Lake, Collins Bay, Stony Rapids, and FondโduโLac. This work is necessary to repair the damage and ensure the longโterm reliability of services in the area. SaskTel apologizes for any inconvenience this outage may cause and thanks customers for their patience while crews complete the work as quickly as possible. In the event of an emergency, residents in and around these communities will need to physically contact their nearest emergency services for assistance. #skoutage
