@JeffHamonPhoto @SaskTel Pretty sure the government forced them to not do that dumb ****

  • mclean_brad Brad mclean (@mclean_brad) reported

@nomaddadMatt I’ve been wanting to change my email for a couple years as sasktel can’t filter out even basic spam garbage!

  • KevinRadloff Kevin Radloff (@KevinRadloff) reported

@MegaMikeSK @SaskTel Do you need email? Or internet? It costs a lot to run the email service. Companies don’t stay in business with products that don’t make $ Gmail is free. They sell your info to keep it that way, S’tel won’t

  • wendellwaldron Wendell Waldron (@wendellwaldron) reported

Based upon what I'm reading, it sounds like Sasktel's email service is not a big loss.

  • EverettMartin Everett Martin (@EverettMartin) reported

@pkcanada1 @SaskTel Yeah... except it is a service used primarily by people without the wherewithal to switch. If Sasktel wants to deprecate email, they should a) stop offering it to new customers, b) stop updating the GUI, and finally c) discontinue it with lots of notice, and ample migration help.

  • alanjhamann Alan Hamann (@alanjhamann) reported

@JeffDMichel @SaskTel I decided to support the provinces, mobile provider sasktel. What a mistake. In the contract, it says that they can change the price at any time they wish, and we are stuck in a contract that we can’t change on our side.

  • jremele1 Remelej - All Con Premiers must go! (@jremele1) reported

@SaskTel Can someone from SaskTel confirm that email service monitoring is not done in the USA? Word on the street is that a contractual agreement with an American company may have initiated this

  • JeffDMichel Jeff D. Michel (MICKel) (@JeffDMichel) reported

@alanjhamann @SaskTel I just got a notice today that my current mobile plan is being replaced and they’re charging me another $10 for the same service I receive now.

  • EverettMartin Everett Martin (@EverettMartin) reported

@pkcanada1 @SaskTel Telecoms raise their rates all the time. Sasktel could have just had a small (I chose $1.25 randomly) monthly rate increase across the board, but they decided to get cute about it and target a certain type of customer to get less money for more PR headache.

  • Insomnamarth Insomnamarth (@Insomnamarth) reported

@SaskTel To everyone complaining about greed, It’s literally about email. They raised the price so people would cancel their email, it’s a money sink. Do you see email advertised by Access or Shaw? No. Telcos want people to use Gmail. Gmail’s android integration makes telcos lives easier
