@alexmarz @SaskTel @Telesat They probably want service before the end of this century.

@fanCRTCProfling Some of that will be remote locations. Land costs should actually be lower than average because the towers are going up on cheap or free land. (ie. White Fox tower went up on Sasktel's lot it already owned for the service shed) So that makes it even more suspect.

@cselley There does exist in several iterations, what he describes. Co-op is an example, higher per item price with an equitable profit share There is Sasktel as a government owned service provider. Less customer service, higher prices, zero profit motivation.

@SaskTel And without Starlink, this would have never happened.

@j4shah @avilewis @nopenotnathan Whats the wait time of Bell vs Sasktel for service?

@hinz_tamara @DennisKendel I LOVE SaskTel, having previously been with Bell and Telus in AB, and also currently with AT&T on a U.S. plan, the coverage and service with Sasktel is FAR superior to any of those companies.

SaskTel technicians have been dispatched to resolve the outage, however, there currently is no estimated time of repair. #skoutage

@SaskTelSupport I hope we don't all have to call and make a complaint to see credit on our accounts here in warman. Do the right thing SaskTel.

@bgdoane @SaskTel On a neighbors farm you can see the cell tower 6 miles straight north and they have no service in their yard. It's not going to be long until we all will be using starlink phones and cell towers will go the way of the party line IMO
