Just Jan (@JaniceOwen) reported from Warman, Saskatchewan@ShawInfo hey any deals right now? University student deals? Tired of 💩 @SaskTel internet and paying for 300 "fibre" service and barely getting 20 to my devices.
-
Mark Johnston (@markjohnstonfm) reported@RadioClayton Dude! When the SaskTel guy came to my house to install some stuff for me I was sitting on the couch, doing nothing but felt bad the entire time and was thinking, "I should probably offer to help with something!"

(Jon)ny Foozball (@jonathanwhudson) reported from Wheatland County, Alberta@JaniceOwen @ZiadFazel @SaskTel Yep. And SaskTel should figure out which is the issue. As a tech person knowing if it's wifi versus the router to outside house connection would let me relocate wifi. (I'd buy long Ethernet cable to that reaches somewhere else.) You shouldn't need to hard wire everything.

Lemuel Alquino (@LAlquinoProd) reported@RadioClayton Whenever SaskTel came by to fix something, I always helped them out. It’s usually to move crap out of their way for the most part

(Jon)ny Foozball (@jonathanwhudson) reported from Wheatland County, Alberta@ZiadFazel @JaniceOwen @SaskTel Using a Ethernet cable for one speed test is a good idea. Let's you figure out if issue is the actual Internet service or your wifi.

Chad Ror (@C_RORRIS) reported from Weyburn, SaskatchewanNot sure why I even have a password on my wifi. It’s so ******* conistently terrible that nobody in their right mind would try to steal it anyways #Sasktel #FirstWorldProblems
-
Brad mclean (@mclean_brad) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan@TweetlessT12 I’ve set my filter to high and still doesn’t help. Sasktel is incapable of filtering this garbage🤬
-
latesh (@latesh140) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan@indulgentcory @SaskTel I agree 5gb unlimited canada wide on bell cost me $65 and if I look at @SaskTel it cost $80+ . We want to support our local companies but not at our cost.

Oscar Noble (@Noble_Curtis) reported from Medicine Hat, Alberta@Murse759 I’m not entirely sure, why the big difference between SGI and ICBC. Perhaps coverage levels? Also if I’m not mistaken the profits from SGI Canada subsidize their provincial rates. I lived in Sask for five years and really enjoyed the service from both Sasktel and SGI.

(Jon)ny Foozball (@jonathanwhudson) reported from Wheatland County, Alberta@JaniceOwen @ZiadFazel @SaskTel There's actually simple methods they could use, such as if you aren't using your cable coax connections they could use them as Ethernet cables by adding converter at each end. The converter cost them equipment, just like longer Ethernet but avoids install issues or holes.
