@JujuGye @CTVNews I actually get my service plans in SK when I go visit my fam bc the same plan in BC will cost 30$ more just because Saskatchewan has Sasktel to bring down the costs of the other big 3.

It's been super odd to watch lefties react to the Rogers outage by celebrating Sasktel Imagine what would happen in SK if Sasktel went down. Also, they want Sasktel to be a complete monopoly.

  • VaultOfAss Teesin (@VaultOfAss) reported

Sasktel trending because of Rogers being down ******* over lots of people everywhere else in Canada while Sasktel is still fine. At least there's one good thing about being in Saskatchewan lol

  • Melnychuk86 Mark Melnychuk (@Melnychuk86) reported

@nickfaye @SaskTel I think my Sasktel internet has gone out once in the 12 years I've been a customer. Very reliable service.

@MrCanSays @ProfSmithSask @SaskTel Gary Filmon, after an Election campaign during which he claimed he would never privatize our telecom company. Provincial Cons would love to privatize MBHydro too but we MBns have long memories & are not havin that. Meanwhile they use it as their cash cow as much as they can. 😑

  • GregHelfrich Greg Helfrich (@GregHelfrich) reported

@RantingCanuck @kim_siever MTS and Sasktel where never nationalized, they were always crown corporations. I can't find a company of any size that was nationalized that isn't private today. CN Rail, Potash Corp of Sask, Cameo, Air Canada, etc. To be clear, I'm talking about forced nationalization.

@biletubes @MondoAlberta @PierrePoilievre service in SK is like half the price it is elsewhere. And they manage to do that while providing excellent coverage to some of the lowest population densities of any network in the country. And people love the service Sasktel agents give.

@Mullin_95 I’m not impressed with Sasktel either ,it’s just horrible lately

  • fishcreekbeer Fish Creek Brewing Co. (@fishcreekbeer) reported

@SamyiMo @TheBeaverton Clearly they should have redundancies. The fact Bell, TELUS, Shaw, Cogeco, Videotron, Sasktel, etc. already exist didn’t prevent Interac’s service from going down. How would another 5, 10 or 100 competitors have?

  • jmckay2508 Jo(She\Her) (@jmckay2508) reported

@FardenMarianne @ProfSmithSask @SaskTel My bad, they bought out Bells Operation back in 1909 - that would include a huge swath of copper lines. But since then they have done well considering there trapped between the behemoths who keep trying to weasel their way in
