@ProfSmithSask @suestroud @SaskTel But do they have their own network or do they use Rogers/Bell/Telus’ network?

@JFN1971 @dingelmeyer @JJ_McCullough Funny I'm here tweeting at you from my sasktel phone wondering what the problem is with sasktel?

@SunshineRulez Maybe just let Sasktel be a player federally? I'm sure there's an infrastructure problem with that i'm not thinking of. We have Vidéotron here. Rogers tried to buy it out but the one Quebecker on the board pulled the rip cord and sold it to Québecor, which was weirdly his right.

@BOWZ6CV @SaveWildBees Depends on your definition. SaskTel's network covers at least all of southern Saskatchewan, which is pretty empty outside the cities. I get service everywhere on the Bruce Peninsula. Even got it in Parc National de Jacques-Cartier (though not on the road just outside the park).

@SamyiMo @TheBeaverton Clearly they should have redundancies. The fact Bell, TELUS, Shaw, Cogeco, Videotron, Sasktel, etc. already exist didn’t prevent Interac’s service from going down. How would another 5, 10 or 100 competitors have?

It's been super odd to watch lefties react to the Rogers outage by celebrating Sasktel Imagine what would happen in SK if Sasktel went down. Also, they want Sasktel to be a complete monopoly.

@JJ_McCullough How are you and all these people do stupid and clueless not to know we have crown corporations like sasktel that provide telecommunications? HOW?

@JujuGye @CTVNews I actually get my service plans in SK when I go visit my fam bc the same plan in BC will cost 30$ more just because Saskatchewan has Sasktel to bring down the costs of the other big 3.

@BakedGoodsYYC @MondoAlberta @PierrePoilievre Sorry, I meant Rogers in BC need not worry about competition from Sasktel. On customer service and retail aspects of the business, I can’t see a problem with having competition.
