  @JBMcAdams @SaskTel @bellmts is no better on the Manitoba side of the border. Coverage is intermittent from Russell to Bunge and then basically nonexistent to the border. So if the reason is that the coverage can’t cross the border then why do we pay for service that does not exist

  Crews will continue to work on repairs to SaskTel’s fibre transport infrastructure throughout the weekend. However, there continues to be considerable risk for further interruptions to SaskTel Internet, Wireless and/or Landline (Home Phone and Business Phone) service due to ongoing fire activity and the nature of repairs involved.

  @LeafandThistle I had that happen the spring of 1998. The WO at Line Training in Kingston invited me to instruct the QL3 line crse. Had to turn him down, as I was hired full time permanent at SaskTel as a lineman. Went to a Class A soldier from that point on.

  @TKeeps @JBMcAdams I am sorry to hear you're having trouble with the coverage. Borders are difficult to cover as SaskTel faces all towers inward and cannot have our cell footprint spill across the border which can cause fringe zones where boosters may be needed for less than ideal coverage

  @cselley There does exist in several iterations, what he describes. Co-op is an example, higher per item price with an equitable profit share There is Sasktel as a government owned service provider. Less customer service, higher prices, zero profit motivation.

  @PrairieVeteran @Martyupnorth You and me too Shaughn. Just running the numbers between my DND pension, SaskTel pension and my personal savings. My wife and I are staring down the barrel of retirement.
