Sasktel fusion worked ok but not even close to enough bandwidth, xplornet satellite was just plain slow and we would go over it as well, now on xplornet LTE and it seems ok so far, unlimited use and reasonable speed.....

So that leaves 2 possibilities. Either they lost money on providing service there for that price (gouging the rest of us to make up for it) or it was still profitable.

B (@SKnewstalk) reported@sasktel is part of the reason SK families are so broke. The crown Corp is broken and needs to be put back in its place by @PremierScottMoe that means taking a step back to your roots of providing a valuable service at an affordable price, not gouging sk families.

SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reportedMarch 11, 2026 – SaskTel crews completed the planned network maintenance and restored all SaskTel services in and around the communities of Sandy Bay, Brabant Lake, Geikie River, Wollaston Lake, Black Lake, Key Lake, McArthur River, Cigar Lake, Collins Bay, Stony Rapids, and Fond‑du‑Lac prior to 6:00 am this morning. Saskatoon Transit (@stoontransit) reported@MA5ONATOR HI Chills @MA5ONATOR, Saskatoon Transit only runs service to the Blades games from the special event stop on 23rd street between 1st and 2nd Avenue. For larger events SaskTel Center utilizes other resources. Please contact SaskTel center to confirm bus service from malls.

RK (@Freedom_Saskie) reportedStarlink made deal with Sasktel,a crown corp. Sasktel will manage account and can demand service cancelled. Sounds to me like a foundation for a blackout if Sask rise up against the gov. Know this, We can still deal with Starlink direct and bypass the Crown for now. see 👀👇
