    @caiobchi @cmaconthehill @CityNewsKIT Videotron competition lowered prices in Quebec. Much like MTS + Sasktel did in MB / SK. Competition for the big 3. Videotron has service outside of QC, in Ottawa, same prices as QC. The big 3 and their flanker brands would not match prices of Videotron in Ottawa. We switched.

    @JBMcAdams @SaskTel @bellmts is no better on the Manitoba side of the border. Coverage is intermittent from Russell to Bunge and then basically nonexistent to the border. So if the reason is that the coverage canโ€™t cross the border then why do we pay for service that does not exist

    March 11, 2026 โ€“ SaskTel crews completed the planned network maintenance and restored all SaskTel services in and around the communities of Sandy Bay, Brabant Lake, Geikie River, Wollaston Lake, Black Lake, Key Lake, McArthur River, Cigar Lake, Collins Bay, Stony Rapids, and Fondโ€‘duโ€‘Lac prior to 6:00 am this morning. SaskTel again apologizes for any inconvenience this outage may have caused and thanks customers for their patience and understanding. #skoutage

    @TheTorontoSun SaskTel is the reason Saskatchewan residents have the lowest telecom bills in the country, and you're talking as if a national Crown Corp doing the same thing would be bad for working Canadians?

    Will the Sasktel saga never end? 2 months now, no home internet. Neighbour has been in her home a week and today Sasktel is parking in MY driveway to install her internet.... *sigh*. It's ok, I really didn't want to leave the house to get stuff done today anyway....

    @EvanLSolomon Sinking billions of our tax dollars into fueling this bubble just before it pops is grossly irresponsible when you could use that money to create a national public telecom like SaskTel to give Canadians better service and pricing than what the big 3 offer.

    Just thinking out loudโ€ฆhow nice would it be to head down for supper before walking to an arena for a playoff hockey game. Wouldnโ€™t work cause not enough parking for 4 vehicles at the restaurant. Oh well. Now time to join everyone on a bus to Sasktel center. @cityofsaskatoon

    Absolute **** show getting to Sasktel centre let alone parking at this @BladesHockey game. Not one @SPSTraffic controlling traffic flow. #goblades

    @here4fredom @realnikohouse I get 900 Mbps down and 500 Mbps up on SaskTel in Saskatchewan. I've seen DOCSIS providers offer 2Gbps down and 1Gbps up, but they don't offer publicly rout able IPs.
