Much like MTS + Sasktel did in MB / SK. Competition for the big 3. Videotron has service outside of QC, in Ottawa, same prices as QC. The big 3 and their flanker brands would not match prices of Videotron in Ottawa. We switched.

What Sasktel does do is invest more in infrastructure for our vast rural areas than regular providers would. I'm OK to pay a "little" more for that and we support them for that reason.

I spend a lot of time in Saskatchewan, people here seem pretty satisfied with SGI and SaskPower as well, even though they are monopolies, unlike SaskTel. Government run isn't always bad, just usually.

This is exactly why I switched from CPC to LPC and voted for Carney. Y’all are dumb asf and have become more pro-U.S. than pro-Canada. Carney’s team made concessions, the deal was ready to be signed, and then the U.S. decided to pull a last-minute stunt.
