  @caiobchi @cmaconthehill @CityNewsKIT Videotron competition lowered prices in Quebec. Much like MTS + Sasktel did in MB / SK. Competition for the big 3. Videotron has service outside of QC, in Ottawa, same prices as QC. The big 3 and their flanker brands would not match prices of Videotron in Ottawa. We switched.

  @nationalpost @financialpost Sinking billions of our tax dollars into a bubble just before it bursts isn't what Canadians want, take that money and create a public telecom like SaskTel to give Canadians a better option than the high priced garbage we get from the big 3.

  @fanCRTCProfling Some of that will be remote locations. Land costs should actually be lower than average because the towers are going up on cheap or free land. (ie. White Fox tower went up on Sasktel's lot it already owned for the service shed) So that makes it even more suspect.

  @SaskTel they want more money but when their product breaks or **** like that, or it’s not up to ***** and their Internet is crappy, they still want more money and they don’t do anything about it. I love, greedy companies, greedy, greedy companies.

  @ExnerPirot @BramRecorder I agree, our prices in SK are in the ball park, if not a little higher. What Sasktel does do is invest more in infrastructure for our vast rural areas than regular providers would. I'm OK to pay a "little" more for that and we support them for that reason.

  March 11, 2026 – SaskTel crews completed the planned network maintenance and restored all SaskTel services in and around the communities of Sandy Bay, Brabant Lake, Geikie River, Wollaston Lake, Black Lake, Key Lake, McArthur River, Cigar Lake, Collins Bay, Stony Rapids, and Fond‑du‑Lac prior to 6:00 am this morning. SaskTel again apologizes for any inconvenience this outage may have caused and thanks customers for their patience and understanding. #skoutage

  @PremierScottMoe let me guess? you want to implement digital ID to enforce it. I would cancel my sasktel in a heartbeat
