@caiobchi @cmaconthehill @CityNewsKIT Videotron competition lowered prices in Quebec. Much like MTS + Sasktel did in MB / SK. Competition for the big 3. Videotron has service outside of QC, in Ottawa, same prices as QC. The big 3 and their flanker brands would not match prices of Videotron in Ottawa. We switched.

@gold_brickin @SaskTel I agree. I also believe that terrible decisions are being made top down to all Crowns and are being implemented because there is no longer any rationalization or discussion on those matters.

@tammyrobert Yet another move towards privatization This government has been hacking decent jobs from SaskTel in favour of Contractors for years Many valuable positions have been eliminated Service is in the toilet IMO

@WilhelmGere @gold_brickin oh crap, I just saw the news piece on it. I certainly didn't get a notice as a SaskTel customer. Wow, that's sneaky! It's interesting how they just finished a campaign to get people to sign a two year contract at a lower rate then slip in these extra charges.

@SaskTel @alexYQR I’m a loyal long time SaskTel customer & longtime SaskTel internet customer. In fact, I go back so far that when I signed up for SaskTel internet (at the time) I was assigned 4 email addresses for use with family members of which all are in use. How about grandfathering loyalty?

I never received an email about plan to charge for emails @SaskTel. $350 bill already and I won’t pay more for sub-standard email service. #spam

@ctvsaskatoon I guess I will be giving up my sasktel email address. I have them all forwarded to a different account anyway just because I had sooooo many problems with it.

@ctvregina SaskTel’s email quality of service has declined with recent spam emails. I doubt if the charge will result in a premium subscription.

@heidi_paterson @ctvregina No one had email forced on them, it was a free addition to your internet service. Call Sasktel and they will remove email from your service.

@tammyrobert It's a service. It's not supposed to make money. The costs are high because it's also a huge province with a tiny population, all of whom want electricity. Same goes for Sasktel and SaskEnergy. Moe just wants to use this as an excuse to sell it off.
