And often exec govt footed the bill to bring better service into an area. There is no way a private company would have done the same. But ya, the service still sucks.

They keep our rates cheap & their roaming is the best bet going in Canada… literally flips to whichever carrier has the best signal at any given moment (Rogers/Bell/Telus), in my experience.

Paid $40 activation fee for no service! Brutal, can I get some help! Or should I just switch back to a national provider!

I called in about our business account as our gym closed more than a month ago. The rep basically laughed at me when I asked for some financial help of a deferral during these times.

Sasktel is also notoriously unreliable despite having a monopoly on cell towers. We have starlink at home & in the cars to make up for Sasktel’s lack of service

The outage is expected to last approximately 8 hours. The exact timing of the service interruption cannot be confirmed in advance. During the outage, residents who require emergency assistance should physically contact another person for help or visit your nearest health clinic or RCMP detachment. Just call me....Duff (@jim_duffus) reported@ExnerPirot I'll fill you on this Heather. I've been a Sasktel customer for my Home, Business, internet and cell phone FOREVER. I've never once tried to price out other companies WHY? My kids, and other close relatives constantly are jumping for one company to another and constantly complain about service prices etc etc when they leave. I've never had an issue with Sasktel that caused me reason to leave. Customer service still counts as first priority for many people.

Scott Cheston (@ScottChestonSk) reported@LeafandThistle I had that happen the spring of 1998. The WO at Line Training in Kingston invited me to instruct the QL3 line crse. Had to turn him down, as I was hired full time permanent at SaskTel as a lineman. Went to a Class A soldier from that point on.
