Sasktel will need to pay for additional support staff to assist customers, as well as deal with the fallout resulting in the general distaste in the province for what people feel are unnecessary fees.

And often exec govt footed the bill the bring better service into an area. There is no way a private company would have done the same. But ya, the service still sucks.

The outage is expected to last approximately 8 hours. The exact timing of the service interruption cannot be confirmed in advance. During the outage, residents who require emergency assistance should physically contact another person for help or visit your nearest health clinic or RCMP detachment. The tower is located out of town. It didn’t work in Meadow Lake, Loon Lake or Goodsoil until they put towers right in town. I was A TST for 38 years.

When someone set fire to a mattress in the alley and burned down a power pole, the SaskTel Repair Team explained that it was arson. I contacted the police to offer my CCTV footage with the start time, I was told it was a wiring fault. Hilarious!
