@Sasktel I know these spam calls are hard to stop but nearly 20 between 2 phones in a day is a bit much. Something we can all do to help you stop them?

@JaniceOwen @SaskTel Well mine sure didn't. LOL One guy was here moved the modem. I suggested maybe the problem was the modem. He shrugged it off. I called the next day and the guy said.......the modem was out dated.

@QuickDickMcDick @SaskTel In the same breath, I remember one prov park had terrible service every summer. They thought it was oversubscribed. I finally dug into it and discovered a govt computer would get turned on every summer that was full of viruses & killed service for everyone.

Remember that one time when the @SaskParty tried charging everyone in the Province for a bad email service, and then decided against it ( after public outage ), forcing @SaskTel to take blame and then hoped everyone forgot about it? That was a funny week. #skpoli

  • JenniferLh1234

It feel like I can not say anything on the media. Community service experience alot of how I feel. It's landlord place and tenants insurance and government 775.00 a month. So hide sasktel and realize how much money.

Don't need help ๐Ÿ™„. I been game out and trying to not turn power off on sasktel lol. Leads to the front source gotta laugh it up. Game who paying sasktel?

  • alexYQR
Alex (@alexYQR) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@ctvregina This will harm @SaskTelโ€™s residential business more than it saves it money. Sasktel will need to pay for additional support staff to assist customers, as well as deal with the fallout resulting in the general distaste in the province for what people feel are unnecessary fees.

  • EscapeGirl1960

@WotherspoonT So now I have to switch everything to Gmail? Or pay that $2/ month but itโ€™s the principle. I use SaskTel Stream, so Iโ€™ll sign in with a gmail in future? Should have 1 included.

  • ppaczko

@mickpanko @SaskTelSupport @SaskTel Iโ€™m on Access, but I have that issue pretty often. The rebroadcast signal from TSN is choppy, while the original feed from whichever U.S. network is fine. Annoying.

@indulgentcory @SaskTel I agree 5gb unlimited canada wide on bell cost me $65 and if I look at @SaskTel it cost $80+ . We want to support our local companies but not at our cost.

  • alexYQR

@SaskTel I legitimately feel terrible for your support staff right now.

  • Drofmab
Greg Bamford๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ (@Drofmab) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@cstewartyqr Yeah - my issue was twofold: - I either had to transfer my Bell contracts to SaskTel, or buy-out nearly 2 years remaining with Bell; and - Rogersโ€™ coverage was (still is) exceptionally limited in Sask. Cities, and major highways. Not viable for my use.

@bgdoane @SaskTel On a neighbors farm you can see the cell tower 6 miles straight north and they have no service in their yard. It's not going to be long until we all will be using starlink phones and cell towers will go the way of the party line IMO

  • SaskTelSupport
    SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reported

10:45 PM: A planned SaskTel outage will occur on March 11, from midnight to approximately 6:00 a.m., while crews complete permanent fibre repairs related to last yearโ€™s wildfire damage. During this window, Internet, wireless, and landline (home and business) services will be unavailable across multiple Northeast Saskatchewan communities, including Sandy Bay, Brabant Lake, Geikie River, Wollaston Lake, Black Lake, Key Lake, McArthur River, Cigar Lake, Collins Bay, Stony Rapids, and Fondโ€‘duโ€‘Lac. This work is necessary to repair the damage and ensure the longโ€‘term reliability of services in the area. SaskTel apologizes for any inconvenience this outage may cause and thanks customers for their patience while crews complete the work as quickly as possible. In the event of an emergency, residents in and around these communities will need to physically contact their nearest emergency services for assistance. #skoutage

  • JabberwockyP
    Jabberwocky (@JabberwockyP) reported

@SassBot69 @RomeTimed @theJagmeetSingh Yeah. However, it wasn't just SaskTel and MTS that offered those prices. Rogers, Bell, and Telus matched. So that leaves 2 possibilities. Either they lost money on providing service there for that price (gouging the rest of us to make up for it) or it was still profitable.

  • Bradtk421
    Brad (@Bradtk421) reported

@BillboardChris I don't know about Sasktel to be honest. When Bell bought out MTS we got higher prices on somethings and did not get much better service.
