(Jon)ny Foozball (@jonathanwhudson) reported from Wheatland County, Alberta@JaniceOwen @ZiadFazel @SaskTel That's not great for 'fibre'. I'm not sure what your wifi specifications are (they could be a bottleneck) but it feels like it isn't the issue. I always prefer direct cable test to make sure.
-
(Jon)ny Foozball (@jonathanwhudson) reported from Wheatland County, Alberta@JaniceOwen @ZiadFazel @SaskTel I know in city I have non fibre (dual ADSL) from Telus but I get what I'm supposed to. So should you. They also should help solve your wifi location issue if they are really doing their job right.

(Jon)ny Foozball (@jonathanwhudson) reported from Wheatland County, Alberta@JaniceOwen @ZiadFazel @SaskTel There's actually simple methods they could use, such as if you aren't using your cable coax connections they could use them as Ethernet cables by adding converter at each end. The converter cost them equipment, just like longer Ethernet but avoids install issues or holes.

(Jon)ny Foozball (@jonathanwhudson) reported from Wheatland County, Alberta@JaniceOwen @ZiadFazel @SaskTel Yep. And SaskTel should figure out which is the issue. As a tech person knowing if it's wifi versus the router to outside house connection would let me relocate wifi. (I'd buy long Ethernet cable to that reaches somewhere else.) You shouldn't need to hard wire everything.

(Jon)ny Foozball (@jonathanwhudson) reported from Wheatland County, Alberta@ZiadFazel @JaniceOwen @SaskTel Using a Ethernet cable for one speed test is a good idea. Let's you figure out if issue is the actual Internet service or your wifi.

The mad gorilla (@Themaddgorilla) reported@SaskTel you should pay me to use your ****** internet service
-
Fairbs (@Fairbs3) reported@j4shah @avilewis @nopenotnathan Whats the wait time of Bell vs Sasktel for service?
-
Alex (@alexYQR) reported@sasktel I love my Infinet 1G plan but am interested in faster. I get this means swapping out my customer equipment and as such this is probably a large undertaking from your end. Just wanted to throw it out there that I'd love more.
-
John Zylstra (@ZylstraJohn) reported@alexmarz @SaskTel @Telesat No worse than any other internet provider.... its the content much more than the provider which is the issue.
-
Jabberwocky (@JabberwockyP) reported@SassBot69 @RomeTimed @theJagmeetSingh Yeah. However, it wasn't just SaskTel and MTS that offered those prices. Rogers, Bell, and Telus matched. So that leaves 2 possibilities. Either they lost money on providing service there for that price (gouging the rest of us to make up for it) or it was still profitable.
-
Gord Radcliffe (@SimonKaos) reported@SaskTelSupport Sasktel announced this morning broadband to 48 more communities soon. Kind of a joke when you can’t even service the ones you got. Ie: Warman; over 24hrs with no service.
-
Mark Firemoon (@MFiremoon) reported@kirkrussell4 @flipkoin2 Lüm mobile runs on Bell's network outside of Saskatchewan, but the profits go back to the provincially owned, SaskTel. Support the people of Saskatchewan who kept public ownership.
-
B (@SKnewstalk) reported@sasktel is part of the reason SK families are so broke. The crown Corp is broken and needs to be put back in its place by @PremierScottMoe that means taking a step back to your roots of providing a valuable service at an affordable price, not gouging sk families.

little tokyo (@NNymphiz) reported@SaskTel please fix ur service, this **** is ridiculous, disconnected 9 times in the past 2 hrs
