They thought it was oversubscribed. I finally dug into it and discovered a govt computer would get turned on every summer that was full of viruses & killed service for everyone.

Paid $40 activation fee for no service! Brutal, can I get some help! Or should I just switch back to a national provider!

Greg Bamford🇺🇦 (@Drofmab) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan@cstewartyqr Yeah - my issue was twofold: - I either had to transfer my Bell contracts to SaskTel, or buy-out nearly 2 years remaining with Bell; and - Rogers’ coverage was (still is) exceptionally limited in Sask. Cities, and major highways. Not viable for my use.

Sasktel will need to pay for additional support staff to assist customers, as well as deal with the fallout resulting in the general distaste in the province for what people feel are unnecessary fees.

No one believes me as had a blister on my bottom lip. Experience with sasktel hook up to carbon monoxide box and wires to the front. Field's have help me as I am safe.

Winter driving is miserable and slow enough as it is. Couldn't do it in the summer when everyone is on vacation and parking lots outnumber people.

And often exec govt footed the bill the bring better service into an area. There is no way a private company would have done the same. But ya, the service still sucks.

White Fox tower went up on Sasktel's lot it already owned for the service shed) So that makes it even more suspect.

SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reportedOn March 25, 2026 - Crews will be completing scheduled maintenance on the satellite network that supports SaskTel Landline Phone services (Home Phone and Business Phone) in Kinoosao. The outage is expected to last approximately 8 hours. The exact timing of the service interruption cannot be confirmed in advance. During the outage, residents who require emergency assistance should physically contact another person for help or visit your nearest health clinic or RCMP detachment. Just call me....Duff (@jim_duffus) reported@ExnerPirot I'll fill you on this Heather. I've been a Sasktel customer for my Home, Business, internet and cell phone FOREVER. I've never once tried to price out other companies WHY? My kids, and other close relatives constantly are jumping for one company to another and constantly complain about service prices etc etc when they leave. I've never had an issue with Sasktel that caused me reason to leave. Customer service still counts as first priority for many people.
