XCorpHub (@XCorpHub) reported🚨 SaskTel partners with Starlink to boost connectivity for rural businesses SaskTel has formed a strategic partnership with Starlink to deliver high-speed business internet services across Saskatchewan. Effective April 1, 2026, the province’s crown corporation will manage installation, equipment purchases, and billing in-house for qualifying rural businesses holding a valid GST number. This initiative directly supports small farms, mines, and forestry operations in areas where traditional fibre or broadband infrastructure remains costly and slow to deploy. Existing Starlink Business customers can switch to SaskTel billing at no charge, allowing them to consolidate services seamlessly. The move represents a meaningful advancement in closing the connectivity gap for rural Saskatchewan enterprises.

Jonathan Adams (@JBMcAdams) reportedDoes anyone else in border communities have **** cell phone service ? We are 4 miles from border and 4 miles to a @SaskTel cell phone tower and for the last week we’ve had to go to the house to send a text ? Theory is that neither of cell providers want to cross the border

Brian Doane (@bgdoane) reported@SaskTel Well, I appreciate your reply. I know it's only lip service. I've been talking to Sasktel about this for years. Our complaints simply aren't going to cause you to build more towers or upgrade current ones. That's the only fix for this.
