@Shawhelp They’re useless - I’ve been trying to get his tv fixed for six weeks and they finally sent a technician - through several calls they never said he needed a new package - I shouldn’t have to deal with them again. Ineffective and inefficient - but I guess y’all are paid by the hour

@ShawInfo the elderly have limited options to understand or negotiate complex packages and changes to service -fix the problem, provide the service my Dad pays for and stop making life complicated for the elderly who want to watch @CBCNews 😡

@Kromski1 @ShawInfo We got Shaw when we moved to AB from Ontario and honestly it was the shittiest service I’d ever used. The modem was so slow it would literally disconnect itself and the wifi would go off for a few minutes. I hate to admit the fibre is way better, but, it is 🥸

@Kromski1 @ShawInfo We had the exact same problem with Telus. Buncha commies. Thankfully we were able to get the second best fiber package for only $20 more than we paid prior so not an all out lose. We’d use 20+ gigs of data off our cellular cause it was so crappy but haven’t had one problem since

@Shawhelp I am extremely disappointed with Shaw internet since I have been experiencing constant disconnection and slow internet speed in my household. And the my shaw app is super unuseful since the assistance is just giving me recommendation rather than solution

@mobutils @CRTCeng @ShawInfo The DHCP part is important because the ISP has to give the cableco large chunks of IPs that are managed by the cableco, split into blocks for each CMTS with routing tables, and DHCP programmed to give an ISP customer an IP that belongs to ISP *and* routed to that CMTS.

@shawinfo how can you have Internet, home phone and cable all down for many hours? This is the problem with bundled services and single point of failure that I was told would never happen. @Shawhelp
