@Shawhelp What's the status for the outage in Langley BC yesterdays link to the update page isn't working any more.

  • etomboulian Evan (@etomboulian) reported

@Shawhelp @yogafan26 Can you guys just install a new damn router outside the affected area? Waiting on hydro is not a valid excuse at this point. Give us an ETA so that people know when they can wfh again. I hope bill credits are forthcoming.

@simon_ook @bchydro I don’t get why a power outage in a relatively small area (149 people affected) means that I don’t have Internet kilometers away from there. Does @Shawhelp not have backup measures for this sort of thing? No other way to restore service?

  • Tentaskyr 🐙Tentaskyr 🐙 (@Tentaskyr) reported

I'm so tired of fighting with @Shawhelp about internet problems. Seems to me I'm getting throttled down to nothing every evening sometimes for a few moments.. Other times like last night and tonight, for hours. All to be told there's nothing wrong. =/

  • mcneal_wayne Wayne McNeal (@mcneal_wayne) reported

@ShawInfo You have to be joking! Mine is so slow the test needle doesn't move.

  • etomboulian Evan (@etomboulian) reported

@Shawhelp BCHydro lists the power outage due to the fire in Langley as restored now. Can you provide an update to us as to why your service is not restored yet? - "Once hydro is restored, services in the area should begin working." - doesn't seem to be a true statement..

  • Stewy13 David (@Stewy13) reported

Seriously @Shawhelp your BlueCurve WiFi SUCKS. I want you to reply so I can either disable the stupid band steering nonsense or return this junk and go back to the old modem we have. Get back to me!

  • Tentaskyr 🐙Tentaskyr 🐙 (@Tentaskyr) reported

@LoyalWolfy @Shawhelp My internet is still throttled down to 14mbps down and 17mbps up. Paying for their Fibre+ plan of 1gif down and 100mbps up.

  • MrHackersHouse Jeff Hacker (@MrHackersHouse) reported
