    Called @Shawhelp today to see about getting a new modem mailed to us since ours is old & we've been having slow wifi for weeks. But of course, while talking to them, speeds were fine & the guy said I'd have to upgrade my plan to get a new one. -__-

    @Shawhelp Ahoy matey! It looks like good ship wifi has run aground near Vancouver and is out o' service, be that true? Me boss won’t be pleased if I don’t show the morrow for virtual work

    @Shawhelp Yeah, I actually have my 2.4 and 5G separated out because band steering causes some issues with my devices. It's not a range issue (I have an extender), the modem is white, it just disappears entirely. Even sitting on it it's not detectable. Cycling the router brings it back.

    @ShawInfo Consumers left to figure out equipment installation or forced to purchase hardware to augment weak service is terrible.Poor installs and poor support. Answer=pay more!

    Genuinely wonder what I'm paying for with @ShawInfo internet, might as well be at their slowest tier for how atrocious my fibre+gig connection is. Utter garbage and getting ahold of a real person to complain means jumping thru hoops with a bot.

    @Shawhelp I off the phone with a @ShawInfo rep who actually confirmed that if I don’t sign a 2year contract, the rate for the same service is not guaranteed. I don’t know anyone who even has cable anymore, this is a horrible way to retain your existing clients. @BBB_BC
