  • ThatIndianArmy1 That Army Brat (@ThatIndianArmy1) reported

Officially switching from @ShawInfo to @TELUS because of @ShawInfo bad customer service, bad connectivity and lack of transparency in sharing estimates about outage times.

  • kellybrocklesby Kelly Brocklesby (@kellybrocklesby) reported

@Shawhelp @marionetta Our business has been down for 24 hours. No phone, internet and no interact machine. I have sent a DM but am not getting an answer. Time to switch our phone lines back!!

  • etomboulian Evan (@etomboulian) reported

@Shawhelp @robynks I dont think anyone, even you, considers 30 hours of outage to be "doing everything humanly possible". Like she said, joke. Get us an ETA.

  • nicksimard Nick Simard (@nicksimard) reported

@simon_ook @bchydro I don’t get why a power outage in a relatively small area (149 people affected) means that I don’t have Internet kilometers away from there. Does @Shawhelp not have backup measures for this sort of thing? No other way to restore service?

  • ayamechronicles ᜁ̊ᜇ̵̊ᜐ᜔ (@ayamechronicles) reported

@Shawhelp our internet in Langley is still down and the data is super slow, like there’s no data as well. When is it gonna be fixed? 😫

  • mcneal_wayne Wayne McNeal (@mcneal_wayne) reported

@ShawInfo You have to be joking! Mine is so slow the test needle doesn't move.

  • bchydro BC Hydro (@bchydro) reported

@MrPremji @Shawhelp @MrPremji Hi there, we understand your frustration. Due to extensive damage from a fire, crews are still waiting to access some of our damaged equipment. We're hoping to receive an update between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. today. We appreciate your patience at this time.

  • sc2019de porygon (@sc2019de) reported

One year into a global pandemic, @ShawInfo has demonstrated themselves to be an unreliable and frankly unpleasant service provider. I am not impressed.

  • Tentaskyr 🐙Tentaskyr 🐙 (@Tentaskyr) reported

@LoyalWolfy @Shawhelp My internet is still throttled down to 14mbps down and 17mbps up. Paying for their Fibre+ plan of 1gif down and 100mbps up.

  • ObiOnyemaobi Sabastien Obi Onyemaobi (@ObiOnyemaobi) reported

@Shawhelp This does not explain how a multi-billion dollar corporation, with customers province-wide, does not have a plan in place for network redundancy in the event of a catastrophe. Redundancy is a must in the ISP world, especially to avoid these types of issues.
