@Shawhelp I am trying to install smart bulbs and the app says I have to change my router to a 2.4 ghz network. The Shaw bluecurve app doesn't let me control those settings. So what do I do?

  • MetalBlonde Karina Halle (on hiatus) (@MetalBlonde) reported from Ganges, British Columbia

We’ve been stuck using Telus internet via cell towers until this gets sorted out, and it works only half the time. @shawhelp told us we would have internet in September. Then in October. Then in Nov, Dec, Jan...now @shawhelp is saying they’ll cancel unless we pay $5K

  • mathews_tj TJM (@mathews_tj) reported

@ShawInfo Too bad that with the fastest most consistent internet their #shawhelp and chat offers no help to customer same canned question don’t listen and can’t even get your name correct after they ask you for it .

  • cpulles cpulles (@cpulles) reported

@Sheilanmm @Shawhelp Contacted Shaw. They know there is a phone issue not sure when it will be up again. “Working on it”.

  • VI_CYC SR (@VI_CYC) reported

@Shawhelp Why am I no longer able to view/change some advanced settings? If you don't see the 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi settings (WiFi Mode, Channel Selection, and Channel Mode) in Advanced Settings, this means these settings are now being managed automatically to help optimize your home network

  • natewu188 natewu (@natewu188) reported

@socialmediareb1 @Shawhelp yup.... this is especially painful after the all day outage one a few weeks ago...

  • speck_2k B (@speck_2k) reported

@Shawhelp I have no dial tone on my home phone in surrey. Is there an outage? Cable and internet are fine.

  • MetalBlonde Karina Halle (on hiatus) (@MetalBlonde) reported from Ganges, British Columbia

Do you know how damn frustrating this has been @Shawhelp ? And that every time we try to speak to a superior, she won’t let us. That she’s been dicking us around since September 10th. Changing the price on a whim. Promising to get things done, never doing so. Now a $5K bribe...

  • ThisIsMeAt52 A. Duncan (@ThisIsMeAt52) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@Shawhelp Hello. We seem to have lost several channels. Please help.

  • Sheilanmm Sheilan (@Sheilanmm) reported

@Shawhelp @cpulles Now I check it and its sounds like a busy signal
