@DevonTarrant @ShawInfo No idea. Telus is Original True Fibre. I'm old Telus Employee, IT/ Biz Unit. Service is what you need 2022 not Tech. Upgrading is Key. Modems Tech assts, Telus delivers. They have coders who change with the Future. . Always: Options, but you choose. No Huawei. Never, ever.

Why do so many companies put the onus on the customer to do a job that is the company's responsibility. I went over to the local @ShawInfo location in Mayfair with equipment that needed to be returned. Nope... can't do that. You have to box it and send it to Edmonton. What?? 1/2

@Shawhelp I really don't care that it's industry standard. It's very substandard. If you want the equipment shipped by the customer, then there should never be a charge against the customer. Ever. It's not the customer's responsibility. It's yours. So act like it.

@ShawInfo how about instead kicking the can down the road by funneling legitimately frustrated customers into the bowels of you buggy chats you just fix the problem? There’s no trouble shooting to be done. Your techs already know what the problem is. They’ve told me over and over

@3rdandOak @ShawInfo Do they supply you with a box? This sounds like such a hassle. I feel old saying it (does 42 count as old?), but I really miss good customer service. :-(

@Shawhelp The second that a customer is told that they cannot give Shaw the equipment, that it must be shipped back, the customer service rep should say, "Don't worry, there will never be a charge against you. Returning equipment is based on good faith, but you will never ever be charged."
