Shaw Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Bonnie Lee (@stitchlady) reported@M_S_Fricker @ShawInfo @RogersHelps The average time I've been on hold for tech support is 45 min+. Rogers doesn't want you to get any help from a human being - they want you to do everything online yourself despite the fact most tech problems can't be helped online. And the music sucks!
-
Bella Bee (@SmileyYYC) reported@Shawhelp you’re kidding??????? Connection issues NOW????? $300 a month and you’re ***!!!!!
-
Trevor Butte (@The_Butte_Man) reported@Shawhelp my home phone will dial out but not in please help
-
CHC 16 (@CHCMike) reported@Shawhelp any issues in the Murrayville Langley BC area. Internet has been out for over an hour and nothing on site about outage
-
Ugabug (@MaryPChipman) reported@Shawhelp I have to return the old modem & the new TV box that didn't work. The 1st technician sent me a FedEx label but there's no FedEx in my neighbourhood. The 2nd technician said he was going to send me a label for Canada Post/UPS, both of which are far more accessible but he never did
-
Release the files (@BlackBlazeE) reportedNo stream today as the internet issues are back. Weirdly consistent numbers on up/down speeds, and ping when this happens. Almost like @ShawInfo is throttling our connection.
-
Ugabug (@MaryPChipman) reported@Shawhelp Now the old TV box doesn't work & the new one to replace the defective one sent us won't arrive until Friday. This 'easy self-install' cost me a half-day & cost Rogers Shaw 3 hours of tech time, just so it could save a few bucks by not sending a techie. And we pay $$$$ for this.
-
Ugabug (@MaryPChipman) reported@Shawhelp We did it all. It turned out Shaw hadn't properly registered the devices. 2 hours spent on the 'easy swap out' new modem (1 hr w tech support). Worse problems with the TV swapout, still unresolved. 1 hr trying everything, 1 hr waiting for tech support, 1 hour w it. New box needed
-
Ron McNeil (@DzynrRon) reported@Rogers @Shawhelp Why does your crap router keep thinking its in Calgary ???, PITA effin hassle as google, etc think I am in that **** hole town instead of Cobble Hill, BC VANCOUVER ISLAND ... No matter the device in our home it thinks it is Calgary, PROGRAM BETTER...
-
Dave (@Danrek77) reported@Shawhelp Like, I really had no reason to upgrade from 1 gigabit to 2 and this “delivery experience” and the subsequent support “experience” has me kind of convinced to just keep what I had and unwind the upgrade.
