1/ Update: it’s a days-long network issue with @ShawInfo that still isn’t resolved. Today happened to be my install date (booked 2 weeks ago) for Shaw internet. Day 1 as a Shaw customer and I can’t help but wonder how an outage like this would be handled in southern Ontario…?

@Shawhelp So I contacted the Chromecast Support team and they asked me if Chromecast works on Netflix and other apps, I said yes, they tell me it is a Shaw issue. So far I have confirmed that it works with; Netflix, Prime, Crave, And Disney, but not BlueCurve.

@Shawhelp what's going on with the outage in the Lions Bay area. Our pvr box won't even power up, and the other boxes won't connect...I spoke to a tech, and he insisted I could watch tv (nope) and to call back after the outage...a tad bit frustrating!
