Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BACullenyyc Bruce Cullen (@BACullenyyc) reported

Hey @Shawhelp - just wasted 2 hours online with one of your agents trying to fix wifi issues. I need a physical technician ASAP. Can’t wait until Saturday. Today or tomorrow at the latest. This is unacceptable. Trying to run a business here….

  • AlisonLinlyGray Alison (@AlisonLinlyGray) reported

@Shawhelp we now need to log in with our Shaw account just to check the status of the Grand Forks outage? Why the change? We barely have data so that’s very annoying

  • LurkingLogger Will (@LurkingLogger) reported

@PixelFlows @Shawhelp I agree @PixelFlows. They appear to have removed the previous information and updates. Likely so the outage appears to be more recent. 4 days now of the same rhetoric can be tiring.

  • ProfTomski Prof A. Tomaszewski 🇨🇦 (@ProfTomski) reported

@ShawInfo @Shawhelp Any plans on 1. Compensating customers for lost service in Christina Lake BC & area (plus considering many incurred extra costs for using cell data and lost $$) & 2. Informing customers in the future about prolonged outages ???

  • LurkingLogger Will (@LurkingLogger) reported

@Shawhelp @jennifer01inBC It’s been 4 days now and this idea is new to your “team”??? Get some limited bandwidth into your fibre line using the cellular network or ask for bandwidth from Telus given the emergency situation. This has gone on long enough.

  • chuckie72 Chuckie (@chuckie72) reported

@mytweetsarecrap @hiwaydispatch @Shawhelp If they were serious, they'd understand that a wildfire is something beyond their control, if they want infallible service, they pay just like any other business who wishes for a near 100% service level.

  • annettesayswhat Annette 😷 (@annettesayswhat) reported

@Shawhelp Total dik move making people log in to see the status of the outage in Grand Forks! 👎👎👎

  • RedDiamondGang1 Red Diamond Gang (@RedDiamondGang1) reported

@Shawhelp and no one's called me back I've left messages after messages Shaw you guys are the epitome of horrible and pathetic customer service you guys are the gold standard for bad customer service

  • Larry_Svenson Larry Svenson (@Larry_Svenson) reported

Hey @RogersHelps why did you add a service to my account without my permission? Tweeting this as your live chat keeps telling me there are no real people to talk to. Last chat was a great example of poor customer service. Maybe @ShawInfo or @TELUS will offer better service

  • LurkingLogger Will (@LurkingLogger) reported

@Shawhelp So, after all this down time I’m shocked you didn’t jump at the chance of patting yourself on the back for getting our service back up finally. Very glad it’s back but I’ll be switching to Telus at first opportunity and advising others to as well. #telus
