@BMatB @SavageBean @DocDaoust Telus (which owns Koodo) & Bell (which owns Virgin) all use the same network, which has better rural coverage than Rogers (which owns Fido) if you ever plan on leaving the lower mainland. Everyone else has even-shittier networks if you travel AT ALL.

  • BrcDi4 Di4BRC (@BrcDi4) reported

@TiredMamaG They want to push the Telus app so if your family doc cant afford to offer the service you’ll go to the app.

@JoeisCranky @TELUSsupport @TELUS Mine was really slow last night.

@quinnsedgework I just got off a 1:30h call with Telus trying to fix this lol I’m freaking out

  • CenturyGum Century Gum (@CenturyGum) reported

@CarttCa So now when you violate the YouTube terms of service your whole Telus home internet and mobile phone and city smart streetlights and healthcare system get banned along with your gmail and everything else? :P

  • mikamckinnon Mika McKinnon (@mikamckinnon) reported

@BMatB @SavageBean @DocDaoust Ahhhh, don't pick until you've selected a rental. Different buildings have different options for home internet. Most have Shaw/Telus, but not all. If you're in a Novus building, GET IT. Hands down best possible internet in the city. Legendary good customer service & reliability

  • hales0104 Haley (@hales0104) reported

@TELUS Have been on hold on the phone for over an hour. No TV or internet for 2 days, 2 techs have been out, today’s tech said the problem was resolved. Not resolved at all, still no TV or wifi. It’s -30 so we can’t go outside, a pandemic so we can’t go anywhere, fix this ASAP.

  • ari_shapiro Ari Shapiro (@ari_shapiro) reported

Bell and Telus have received $161 million in CEWS funds meant for companies struggling to pay their employees. In essence, they converted a wage subsidy designed to help Canadians into an expense leveraging tool for paying shareholder dividends without missing a beat. Disgusting.

  • hales0104 Haley (@hales0104) reported

@wesdouglas @TELUS Nope! And was supposed to be called back this evening and, shockingly, no phone call. Quality customer service @TELUS.

  • BMatB Dr Ben Britton (@BMatB) reported

@mikamckinnon @SavageBean @DocDaoust Telus sales people were less awful than Rogers, so I'll probably go with Telus. But trying to sort this out while I am locked up is proving impossible...
