@telus throttles my internet when I exceed my data limit because of the grandfathered nature of my contract. Painfully slow, except ads. I hate big Canadian telecom

I’ve never had a phone contract. I’ve always paid full price for my device. The MIN I choose to sign with @Telus they 1) don’t process my order (I found this out after 2 weeks) 2) did not include my unit in the delivery.3+ more weeks of delay. Contract cancelled immediately.

@Mark_Goldberg @CompBureau Much better to block every deal, force Shaw to stay in business and starve its network for capital and/or raise Freedom prices, and watch its customers flock to Rogers, Bell and Telus or the re-sellers. Adjust for sarcasm.

Company that does the billing software we use in my wife’s practice bought by WELL Health. Could be worse (bought by Telus), but still… ****. Unavoidable, but this ongoing industry consolidation is not likely a good thing for doctors or patients.

@TELUSsupport The website states Koodo and Telus both have them in stock. The Koodo booth was able to sell me one the best day. The Telus store employees didn't even bother to check. That's either poor training, or shows that Telus doesn't care about their prepaid customers.

“The Big 5 CDN communications, Internet and media conglomerates—BCE, Telus, Rogers, Shaw (Corus) and Quebecor—saw their revenue, individually and collectively, rise to $63.7 billion, an amount equal to a little over two-thirds of total revenue across the network media economy.”

@CP24 Telecom is oligopoly in Canada. Prices won’t come down. Just empty promises. Wouldn’t really make a difference , even Rogers uses Bell fiber optics in some areas. Fido / Virgin similar prices , Bell, Telus and and Rogers same plans - only difference is the customer service.

@TELUSsupport I have DMed you. I’ll update this 🧵 if #Telus resolves my double billing issue. In the last 3 days I’ve spent a total of 8 hours on the phone, been promised 2 call backs which never happened, and the resolution agreed to by one agent has been denied by another.
