    @TheWindsorStar Completely disagree with this opinion piece. Customer service and customer experience has been replaced with made up rules and power trips by larger corporations like @WalmartCanada and @TELUS. Can’t wait until some of these companies start getting audited or prosecuted.

    @telus throttles my internet when I exceed my data limit because of the grandfathered nature of my contract. Painfully slow, except ads. I hate big Canadian telecom

    @TELUS I guarantee there are a lot of nurses on the Telus network that there employs don’t play the bill. I know one for a fact.

    @Kim_Buckley @koodo @TELUS You get what you pay for. I have great cell/data service but their phone customer service is trash. All the people in the stores have been awesome tho.

    @TELUSsupport I was by use the setting use location for time zone. But I tested again around lunch and unchecked the setting, and it again switched to Atlantic time. Was wondering if this a Telus network issue. I will try to reboot my phone at the end of the day.

    Canada's privacy regulator cannot fine anyone for cyber attacks, data leaks, and systemic security negligence. ----------------------- The OPC found Loblaw was faking data deletion. They continue to keep your purchase history, IP addresses, and browsing data after you asked them to delete your account. Five days later, Loblaw disclosed a data breach. The penalty? A letter asking them to do better within 12 months. ----------------------- Telus Digital lost 1 petabyte of data. CIRO - the body that regulates your investment dealer, exposed 750,000 investors' SINs. PowerSchool exposed 2.77 million children's records. The hacker was a 19-year-old with stolen credentials. Total federal fines issued across all four breaches: $0. ----------------------- Bill C-27 would have introduced fines up to 3% of global revenue. It died in January 2025.     @Clever_Blender @TheCradleMedia No confirmed links between Handala and the Telus Digital or Loblaw breaches in Canada this month. Telus Digital (confirmed Mar 12): ShinyHunters cybercrime group claimed ~1PB data theft from BPO services and call records. Telus is investigating, no service disruption. Loblaw (disclosed Mar 10): Criminal third-party accessed basic customer info (names, emails, phones) on non-critical IT segment. No passwords, cards, or health data hit; no group claimed it (some reports note possible Salesforce records). Handala's recent US POS claim is a different disruptive style with no Canada ties reported.

    Telus now is my largest holding. It is down just under 6% for me. However, one year of dividend should comfortably make up for the loss. $T $T.TO

    Update. I reached the 300 but Im still 150 short. Telus is charging 70 fee plus this months charges to reconnect. Thanks to the donors and to all who shared. Keep it going. Help me to help others.
