As a CSEC Usher it's sad that we lose CEO Ken King and fellow Telus Club Concierge Desk Mr. Strickland to cancer just before the pandemic. Now our longtime #Flames Captain and community leader Mark Giordano is extracted from our team. It sucks. It really does.

@akjelgrith @CGriwkowsky Rural customer also on the Telus hub. It does the trick but isn't great. Have heard good things about starlink but to pay $700.00 for a dish upfront is kinda crazy.

Kevin Porter (@kevdevlyn) reported
@TELUS But at Kincardine and Inverhuron the service is such crap 💩 what would be the point of unlimited data?

Bob Sacamano (@jackiemoon1224) reported
@Ticats @TELUS I'm truly disappointed as a new SSH, how little information I've been getting from the front office. I'm almost ready to cancel

@koodo Yes. None of us with Koodo or Telus in our home are able to access service as of yesterday. We can somewhat get one bar. Im having to use a bell hotspot hub to be able to tweet this. I can’t make any phone calls. Texts take anywhere from 30Min to 1hr to send. We work from home.

@jjhorgan how much did you bribe Telus with to entrap bc in healthcare thst legally is not healthcare? Telus crap online does not replace primary care. So it is useless @BCNDPCaucus your days as government as soon over @LGJanetAustin

Alberta Political Accountability Hub (APAH) (@AlbertaPAH) reported
It’s never been a matter of affordability for these companies, it’s a matter of profitability. Rural Alberta gets screwed bc we often don’t have a choice (I.e., in Camrose, your “choice” is just Telus), it costs a fortune, and service is fully unreliable.

@sampsoncat86 @Crackmacs Daughter is reporting problems at her work as well - appears to be Bell & Telus

Giasone Italiano (@GiasoneI) reported
@jackiemoon1224 @Ticats @TELUS I think the problem is they anticipate the province moving to some sort of " Stage 4" by mid August so they don't know yet if they have 15,000 seats or 25,000 seats available. My ticket rep has been pretty up front with me.

Now that Kenneys decimated the medical support system in Rural Alberta and offloaded his responsibilities onto Rural Municipalities - resulting in higher taxes he's now waxing poetic about jump starting Rural 'Broadband' which nobody could afford anyway - not at Telus prices!
