  @StatisticsBC @VIAwesome Fair enough—public debate is healthy. But the core claims driving the marches (water grid drain + waste heat baking the city) still don’t match the actual engineering. These aren’t traditional evaporative data centres. Telus/Westbank designs use closed-loop liquid cooling—a sealed system that recirculates the same fluid, like a car radiator. Result: dramatically lower water use (company target: up to 90% less than conventional air-cooled facilities) and near-zero ongoing evaporation for the primary loop. At 150 W Georgia, the heat isn’t vented to the street. It’s transferred into Creative Energy’s district steam plant to help heat 200+ downtown buildings and cut natural-gas demand. That’s the opposite of “warming the city.” Protests highlight real questions about scale, power, and process. Those deserve scrutiny.   Is anyone else tired of the big 2 mobile and home ‘phone internet providers’? Here we have Telus and Bell, Rogers doesn’t have good mobile coverage. No decent customer service. They have sent it out of the country so they can pay people extremely low wages compared to Canada. Always trying to gouge the customer. It is past time the government allows more competition. Of course this will never happen, I’m would guess it would be due to excellent corporate lobbyists. I am so tired of have a captured government and bureaucracy.

  Telus new customers...doesn't look like they want any? A great @telus story of poor customer service and possibly why their stock continues to languish. I was looking at opening a $T Telus fibre Internet account and seeing what the prices/speeds were for comparison to Rogers. On the website it says they are open to 6:30pm pacific and no one is available to talk to me today but get this... Nobody is available ALL DAY Friday to talk to me and the earliest is 1:30pm on Saturday. If you wonder why the stock is down...

  I added more $AMPG. Being down 0.8% after such news is just diabolical. This is what a company at an inflection point looks like. Do people realize that this company did $5M in revenue last quarter and is now getting tons of Telus money from a $66B project?

  @TELUS Can't believe how difficult you make things to get a new phone for a senior on your mobility plan. Went into a store, they can't do anything; called a number, they took 15 mins to say they can't help; called different number, can't help us; sent us to a site we can't figure out!!

  @FanMontanaro It's worse. I pay for OneSoccer in my Telus subscription, and they didn't have the game. And even tough I've already paid thru Telus, I need a separate login and subscription on their website.

  @tsxman This will be show me story. Can CEO with deep banking experience monetize Telus Health ? Can they sell their real estate to pay down debt? Can they sell their copper ? There will be little catalyst on the revenue side so they need to become a lot more efficient.
