@680NEWS @Bell @Rogers @TELUS It’s about time. Canada has the worst wireless rates of any G20 nation. But 25% reduction in two years isn’t enough. By then the big three should easily be able to deliver far better. Let competition in from the US carriers and we will see far better rates

@TELUS I think it’s a pretty crap move to take the finally affordable $60 for 10 promo plan and hike the rate 16%. Never once has a promo plan that I’ve had been altered after signing up.

@koodo I have been with koodo for 15yrs. But since koodos parent company Telus is using Chinas Huawei 5G I will be leaving. Putting profit over security is not what I want. The CCP has proven to the world it can NEVER be trusted. #CCPLiedPeopleDied #ShameonTelus #BanHuawei

@ProvoGal01 @TELUS @TELUSsupport Because we have allowed lowest common denominator to be the level for Customer Service because as Canadians we are not demanding more and because #1 reason it's a monopoly & consumers we have zero power. You can thanks CRTC while you are at it.

  • mgamble
Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

  • mgamble
Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@Mark_Goldberg @TELUS @ShawInfo No, I’m only talking about fiber in the ground. It needs to be treated like a utility, not like a competitive service. We don’t need to rip up streets twice and run multiple cables to each home. And if the government is funding it, it 💯 percent needs to be open access.

  • JamesRRubec

@JamesMacKNZ @Bell @TELUS Same network different company. Same problems.

In Toronto telus tower few urinals have word “American standards” inscribed. One literally pees on the word “American”. Not a single American will lose their **** over it. #Blasphemy

  • MindFlareRetro

@gregnacu I've had 2 Telus accounts for 22 years (originally ClearNET). Any time I have had a dispute I have learned to call them (don't go to a store) and immediate ask the Client Care rep to put you through to a Loyaly (L&R) rep. Explain the problem and they almost always fix it.

  • Miss_Angel_Baby

I'm With Telus & They Emailed Me Yesterday Saying Some Shit About My Account Being "Overdue" (I Paid 2 Weeks Ago) & "Not To Worry" 🤨

  • Relly_95

@CeeRM_ Yeah they can. That’s what they suggest before taking out a phone at for example Rogers, bell or Telus. Should do that for like a year, then it’ll help fix it

  • BramaleaDD

    BlueCrabGames (@BlueCrabGaming) reported

@globeandmail Doesnt matter when 95% of in person storefront enployees are also thick accent indians who scam the customer every chance they get, to increase their commission. Oh and 100% of the csa on the phone are indians. Even when a Telus employee has to call into their special emplyee only line, its all indians. I quit Telus/koodo explicitly because of the indians, one in particular that was a district manager and the most scum snake oil salesmen person i'd ever met.

@JonSedore HOW SOON WE FORGET The data breach involving Telus Digital in March 2026. Telus Digital confirmed investigating a cybersecurity incident March 12, 2026. The breach involved unauthorized access over several months prior (possibly undetected since late 2025). The hackers stole a massive amount of data—up to around 1 petabyte (700+ terabytes according to some reports). This included customer records, call-center recordings, personally identifiable information from multiple clients, source code, If you're a Telus customer , consider steps like changing passwords or enabling monitoring for identity theft.

@sitkamedia Gotta wonder how this guy keeps his job after all these years, No competition and can’t get the company off the ground, If he’d focus on service and realise how much Telus is hated for their call centres he’d do something

@trevor388569409 @Andrew_Sully @WestJet Westjet wanted cheap labor they got it. The agents in Telus El Salvador have a mediocre English level, they can't even understand a spelling, they work with "scripts" unnatural customer service, then they grow after 1 month of training without any experience in airlines at all

@PeterMeiszner @BoVanston @TELUS 80% of a large number is still a **** ton of water. No one buys your lies anymore. Data centres serve no one except the parasites profiting off them

$ASTS: 🚨 TELUS CANADA HIGHLIGHTS THE COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT SIGNED W/ AST SPACEMOBILE IN MARCH DURING ITS Q1 EARNINGS. TELUS ALSO MADE AN EQUITY INVESTMENT IN AST. "In March 2026, we signed a commercial agreement with AST SpaceMobile, Inc. to bring space-based direct-to-cellular service to places it has never reached before across Canada. Planned for late 2026, our customers will be able to send text messages, make voice calls and use data in Canada’s most remote locations using standard mobile devices. Subsequent to March 31, 2026, we made an equity investment in AST SpaceMobile.
