2/2 even though it was $0.00 that is what companies like Bell & TELUS etc usually charge on the credit card at first to see if it is valid always check everything daily through online banking - it is good I caught it - but sucks now b/c I have to change all my automatic payments

  • michaelnugent Michael Nugent (@michaelnugent) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Oh man, someone on Reddit just reminded me of when Telus used to have their MiKE network back in the early 2000s. I remember some of my friends back in high school had those cell phones that had a built-in walkie-talkie. They looked so convenient to have by buzzing your friends.

  • vikranta Vikrant Agarwal (@vikranta) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@TELUS @TELUSsupport hi! Customer support has not been very helpful. Need help adding Apple Watch to cellular plan. This was supposed to be simple.

@CeeRM_ Yeah they can. That’s what they suggest before taking out a phone at for example Rogers, bell or Telus. Should do that for like a year, then it’ll help fix it

  • OtarineMusic otty (@OtarineMusic) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@lav_sunrise Yeah it seriously sucks. Even if you go third party (I’m with Teksavvy for internet) the service is still distributed by Rogers/Bell/Telus/Shaw.

  • BoomDiggyBang Rich Gomes (@BoomDiggyBang) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@TELUS 2007-2019 "No problem we can certainly collapse any calls or texts to the US you made a few hours prior to entering the US and adding the $7 package. 2020 "Hi Rich! Why don't you go kill yourself! Up yours!!" #telusyouvechanged

  • queerthoughts Rick Barnes (@queerthoughts) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Qualifyfor @johndotbastable The questions asked here by this source are legit. Ask why #WeCharity is not addressing these issues. Also note this org is heavily reliant on corporate sponsorships. They've lost Telus, G&M, and Virgin in the last few days. They need to be more forthcoming.

  • kathleenmcnei18 Kathleen (@kathleenmcnei18) reported from Mississauga, Ontario

Nice of @TELUS 2 offer all Ontario Frontline Health careworkers 2 months free service but there's a catch-they only consider 6 hospitals that are good enough. what about the other hospitals -All Frontline healthcare workers R important regardless of hospital! Please extend this.

  • loganryan44 RG for Life (@loganryan44) reported from Toronto, Ontario

I understand that companies sell information to third parties but come on @telus, no one has my son’s phone number that he should be getting texts to a local dentist we’ve never gone to asking us to return

  • Miss_Angel_Baby Starbucks Bae (@Miss_Angel_Baby) reported from Brampton, Ontario

I'm With Telus & They Emailed Me Yesterday Saying Some Shit About My Account Being "Overdue" (I Paid 2 Weeks Ago) & "Not To Worry" 🤨

  • hardyrenos Anti-Lieberal (@hardyrenos) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@koodo I have been with koodo for 15yrs. But since koodos parent company Telus is using Chinas Huawei 5G I will be leaving. Putting profit over security is not what I want. The CCP has proven to the world it can NEVER be trusted. #CCPLiedPeopleDied #ShameonTelus #BanHuawei

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@Mark_Goldberg @TELUS @ShawInfo No, I’m only talking about fiber in the ground. It needs to be treated like a utility, not like a competitive service. We don’t need to rip up streets twice and run multiple cables to each home. And if the government is funding it, it 💯 percent needs to be open access.

  • ttctaker Carol Brooks (@ttctaker) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@gordperks People are waiting hours to talk to a human being! Most seniors are not computer savvy and or english isn't their first language. Telus is going to fix this?? I think not...press 1 if you think this sucks. Press 2 to get to 1.

@TELUSsupport - absolutely terrible customer service -cancelled appointment because original tech is off for 2 days? How is there only one tech available for an install in Vancouver? Why book an appointment when no one is available? Have received nothing but the runaround @TELUS

  • ve6td Dann - ve6td (@ve6td) reported

Has anyone gotten through to Telus on their support line? IVR said wait time over an hour; not enough cell minutes to hold that long… @TELUSsupport #telusokotoksoutage

  • mediarz mediar (@mediarz) reported

@OlefinTheHusky Is the issue the service up to the building or within the building? I had issues with Telus and not being able to get their high-speed service here because the wiring in the building is too old.

  • newHatshepsut Elle Jaysee (@newHatshepsut) reported

@Tonygeheran you make more than 4 million dollars per year but you think it’s ok to cancel a persons cell service (during the season of giving) for owing $134 for 2 weeks. Absolutely despicable! Meanwhile Telus claims to care about people’s health? What B.S. Shame on you!

  • Bigrockguy888 Bigrockguy (@Bigrockguy888) reported

Hey @TELUS our internet is down in Calgary. Does that mean there will be a discount on this month's bill????

  • whiskeystardust Ryan (@whiskeystardust) reported

@TELUS @TELUSsupport Thanks for ruining our evening. Services have been out in entire town of Okotoks for over 2 hours. That's the thing about having Optik TV tied in with your internet, when it's down you lose all connections including PVR. May be time to find another provider

  • milinpatel143 milin patel (@milinpatel143) reported

@TELUSsupport @TELUS I called 3 time. 1st time - 7 transfer total call time 1hour 3 min. 2nd time 12 min hold call dropped. 3rd time 7 min call call dropped. No call back or issue resolution. What’s going on?

  • turbulentio Digi (@turbulentio) reported

@KristinRaworth The CRTC req's mobile providers to have a solution & suggested not selling it. Telus is supposed to have an option that must be requested. Protection for traditional landlines won't be developed! Once a block list is detected, automated, randomized, phone # spoofing is used. 😡

  • AinsleyThor Ainsley Thor 🇨🇦 (@AinsleyThor) reported

@JanetBrown980 Just got a call…at 5:05am —something to do with Microsoft. We can send people into space but can’t stop these awful spam calls 🤬 @TELUS do better!

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

Also of note is the issues of access to the fraudulent recordings. In the Montreal lady's case w/ sim swap & Telus, Telus refused identifying IP info & device ID info with the claim it isn't *her* info. @privacylawyer called this one. I don't like it, but eh.
