Here's the board. 👇 THE ONLY HORSE. Canada has one carrier capable of deploying AI-RAN: Telus. Forced by Ottawa to rip out Huawei, it became open RAN's truest believer. ~5,000 macro sites converting. Half by 2027. It runs Canada's FIRST AI-powered RAN controller, live since September. It's building Canada's ONLY sovereign NVIDIA GPU factories. The first one sold out. 60,000+ GPUs planned.   Vancouver council votes this Wednesday on pausing new AI data centre approvals until the city builds an actual framework for water, power, and noise impacts. Telus has two projects riding on it. Asking a company to prove it won't strain the grid before shovels go in the ground is normal due diligence, not overreach. If a project can't survive that review, it was never going to be a good neighbour.
