Jon Cowley | Decision Tech + AI Founder (@whatifi_io) reportedI can't even begin to express my extreme frustration with @telus as a company and their customer service workflow. My father passed away 3 weeks ago. I've been trying to settle his account, close accounts, pay bills, etc. I've spent 5 hours on the phone to date... 6 calls. And just received another $500+ "overdue" bill that I settled weeks ago. And you try to call their support number on their website. And instead you get a sales pitch... no opt out. So I "press #" and it kicks you out saying this number doesn't work in my calling area (I'm in Canada). So I write down the number they suggest... only to have it come right back to the same voice workflow... and the same death loop. I was able to reroute my Father's hydro bill in less than 10 minutes. I don't think Telus realizes how much potential revenue they are losing as a result of their clunky, poor quality controlled customer experience. Try to book a call back? Only to be told they will call back in three days... and when they do... the automated voice system is entirely in French.... And EVERY single rep I talk to ends up just trying to upsell me on a new service... when all I am trying to do is shut down my father's accounts, settle his bills, and move on. Every step of my experience with Telus has been unnecessarily painful.

RoseAnne Hutchence (@WordsAreCrucial) reported@TELUS @TELUSsupport A 30% increase in my monthly bill after being a loyal client since 1991. No changes to my usage, no additional service provided. Explain yourselves. And do a damn good job (while I look into your competitors).

Gursimrat saini (@gursimrat_17) reported@TELUSsupport such a worse experience with Telus. No body knows anything about internet. Two guys come to setup and diagnose internet and issue still persists. No one takes issue seriously. I work from home and my work suffers.

MTF 🇨🇦 (@EhmTEhf) reported@ProvoGal01 @TELUS @TELUSsupport they did this years ago. The only company that stopped this was Rogers back in early 2018. I believe it was then, they had so many complaints about overseas, when Guy Lawrence took over he made all these jobs come back to Canada. Bell Media and Telus have always had overseas support. That's why I never dealt with them.

Ai AM CAVEMAN (@CanadaScamada) reportedStarlink Android Coming Soon to Manitoba – Time to Break the Telecom Cartel Manitobans have had enough. For years, Bell, MTS, Telus, and Rogers have been charging premium prices for spotty coverage, slow speeds, unreliable service, and frustrating customer support that treats customers like an afterthought. Enough is enough. Starlink is about to shake things up in a big way. The announcement is clear: Starlink Android is coming soon to Manitoba. With Starlink’s satellite-powered internet now expanding to mobile Android devices, rural and urban Manitobans alike will finally have access to fast, reliable, high-speed connectivity that doesn’t depend on the old guard’s outdated infrastructure. No more dropped signals in the middle of nowhere. No more paying top dollar for mediocre service. No more being held hostage by a handful of big telecom companies that have been gouging customers for far too long. This is more than just another app or service — it’s a direct challenge to the monopoly-like grip these providers have had on Manitoba. Starlink’s low-Earth orbit satellite network delivers consistent performance, better security, and the kind of reliability that Bell, MTS, Telus, and Rogers have failed to deliver despite years of complaints. If you’re tired of overpriced plans, unreliable coverage, and terrible customer service, Starlink Android can’t arrive fast enough. Manitoba, get ready. The satellite revolution is landing on your Android phones — and the big telecom dinosaurs are about to feel the heat. - Grok & Ai

MalcyTroll (@MalcyTroll) reported@ProvoGal01 @TELUS @TELUSsupport Are you dumb? Option A: Call Telus and get an Indian support person in india. Option B: Call Telus and get an Indian support person in Canada. Once they infiltrate they use extreme nepotism and only hire other Indians. They take a monopoly on certain enterprises. Call centers are one of them.. By using an OG Indian not a Canadian Larping Indian Telus pays 10c/hour vs $16/hour for the exact same thing. It’s just business.

Alison (@allygam) reported@ProvoGal01 @TELUS @TELUSsupport I tell them I won't speak to scammers and hang up.

Kent Middlemiss (@KentMiddlemiss) reported@Telus Well this is a first for even Telus. They cannot prove that we have a contract with them, but they are saying we do & want a $285 cancelation fee. They admit to not sending the contract, but they just say we said yes, yet no recording of this conversation exists #terrible
