I still don't understand how @TELUS was able to buy @masconcable meaning both internet options in my village are controlled by 1 company. How is this not a monopoly? Tech support ends at 8pm and I have been waiting for an agent for nearly 20 minutes

@pttopt @SGaibrie BC acted on this was way too slow. MoH sat on a report & NDP even defended Telus as a BC company in the legislature claiming the BC Greens we’re picking on them. With internet we need new privacy laws for HC nationally & can nationalize a lot of the system to improve things.

@JohnFashionGuy What a terrible experience! Telus bought out Vivint and we’ve noticed a lot of issues with our app lately. Very frustrating! Hopefully things are much better with your new company

@cmcalgary Fiber+/FlexFiber isn't fiber to the home like Telus (in some areas) its fiber to their distribution area. It still uses the coax for that last mile. It's actually the exact same Shaw network your already using (for the most part). Without commitment/contract with Shaw.

My @TELUS home services contract expires in a few weeks. After 6 years with them I haven't been happy with their service for the past year. I'm considering switching to @ShawInfo Who would you choose?

@billgood_news Telus making you pay out of pocket is not Universal healthcare. It’s pay for service. If they had a proper agreement with the Province, maybe then it’s not a tiered system. You should not be paying for services, that are basic & covered via the system.

@casualcactii @billgood_news Educate yourself. Telus’ paid service is a small part of their health offerings. Their “My Care” service offers phone health at no charge to the user. I’ve used it and have been very satisfied.
