@Habs_4_Life Their prices may not be much more then Telus or Bell. But if I have to pay for new phones, activation fees and 2 year contract then may as well try something new. Why have loyalty and get no savings after being a customer for years. And it's been many years with them

@computra @peternowak @privacylawyer What just happened with Start, Altima, Bell, Telus and Distributel with your sensitive info flying around is exactly what is going to happen to your sensitive health information as companies are bought & sold. Your privacy regulator couldn't give a damn. I'd file a complaint.

@ClutchMark Your words is what I see as the biggest issue. People are indeed paying more out of pocket to Support creatures like this, but then it turns out it was, *apparently*, BS. Owned by Telus. Would someone in their right mind leave Telus/Rogers & pay more to be with Telus/Rogers?

  • fanCRTCProfling
    Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

@peternowak Way I see it, TSI (maybe with help of Open Media) needs to drive who owns distributel, Vmedia, Acanac etc. As it is people don't know Koodo is Telus. Makes a good marketing campaign for TSI, IMO.

Was blaming my internet on the ****** weather lately because of multiple feet of snow falling, and then an outage that happened. Turns out it's just my router erroring out and needs to be replaced. Least replacements are free even if a tech comes out. Still better than Telus.

@jpappone @TELUSsupport I ment sell, but that's messed. I have actually been with Telus for the last 7 years or so but never bought a phone rather did the 2 year return plan. Koodo is owned by telus I believe and I'm sure you can buy the same phone out right from them.

Now I question if the Internet Society is just a lip-flapper for Telus and incumbents as well for an outcome, just like CNOC. #CRTC Trust has been broken and there is no going back. CNOC did damage.

  • fanCRTCProfling
    Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

Basically we have Bell, Videotron, rogers & Telus paying CNOC for #CRTC regulatory filings, hidden for a ~ year. People supposed to trust CNOC ever again as if they represent & are a voice for "independent internet service providers". They are lip flappers for incumbents.

  • fanCRTCProfling
    Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

The suckers who left Telus & went to a wholesaler, Surprise! Telus used deceptive means to trick u into thinking you left them. You never did, nor did your wallet, nor did your sensitive data. #CRTC CNOC was part of the deception as well. Wholesale are slimy used car salesmen.

@peternowak So, Is this means Telus will be able to expand its fixed broadband service outside BC and Alberta?

  • fanCRTCProfling
    Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

How do we know Teksavvy isn't flapping it's lips for Bell & Telus for an outcome? I see this now as no diff than CNOC, which I will never trust again. Maybe TSI is just flapping lips for Telus who wanted Globalive to have it. Very possible. Wholesale is all deception #CRTC
