Second issue: The DSL Telus provides sucks, and everything about trying to get internet out here and dealing with Telus has been a horrible example of the absolute disdain Telus holds for its customers.

The Telus rep arranged for a tech to visit in mid January "to see what they can do". Newsflash: there's ONE dude out here who does this, and he set it up in the first place. He's not an *******. If it could be solved that easily, he'd have solved it while putting it in.

I have asked Telus to move my account from my SMB - where I am the Authorized Individual - to my personal account, and Telus has said "no, we will not do that unless you present your ID physically to us at a Telus store". I have MULTIPLE problems with this requirement.

Man my @Telus smart hub has been a pile of **** lately. Was great for like a year and a half. Now it’s terrible. Was giving no real solutions as to why when I called either. 😑

I spent about 8 hours over two days on the phone between TELUS, Microsoft, and some sketchy-as-**** company called Boku which apparently was the middleman in the transaction. As far as I can tell, this is what happened:

Let's start with issue 1. I was told that to move my mobile accounts from my small business to my personal account I had to literally risk death, and there were zero alternatives Telus would accept, despite this being an *INSANE* position to take, on a number of levels.

Confirmed they can’t send a tech until the 30th to resolve my issue. Currently looking into what Telus can provide in my area. Until then I’ll have to use my cell service to check World Junior scores online and miss the games. Thanks Shaw.

I am willing to work with Telus on the above problems. To be as flexible as is reasonable, and to find compromises that work for both parties, *and in which Telus still turns a profit*. If Telus can't figure out how to help ME with this, how well are they going to help others?
