@mgeist So do you support say SaskTel? How about Telus having to become BCTel again? How about Roger's being broken up into at least provincial Crown Corporations? Just outright nationalization? Demonstrably vital infrastructure should be a public utility, then argue competition.

@theJagmeetSingh Simple solution CRTC should allow for free roaming on other cellular networks in that situation, my Telus cell was fine all day . Pretty simple equation Jug , not hard to figure out just because Rogers down doesn’t have to halt the country .

@April75Cruel @TELUS @Bell_LetsTalk I never said Bell was great. And I actually have held a lot of criticism about let’s talk. Don’t disagree with them paying more taxes, but also don’t trust governments to spend it well. Hospitals have bloated administrative systems that suck up dollars that could go to care.

@robyncrawford_ @CityNewsVAN I am on Telus, but my work platform is all Rogers. Have not been able to make a call since. EXT 3G is not service. Can't call or text with it. LTE has not been back since Friday. Gonna be a bad Monday if this keeps up

I can't understand how an whole network can go down with no backup I was in the Communications business for 35 yrs In fact on of Cantel's (former name of Rogers) first agents, Now with Freedom and if it goes down I go automatically to Telus or Bell a roaming agreement they have.

@JJ_McCullough There are other private internet networks around. Bell, Telus, Shaw as well as many provincial telecom companies. Last thing we need is govt ruining the networks for good. Best would be breaking up network portion of these companies, Libs dont have the guts to do that.
