@gmbutts The notion of single national network is a Security Risk. Rogers, Telus and Bell customers can interact seamlessly so, logically, the big telecoms could modularise their networks into several smaller networks operating under the same banner. If one went down; not so impactful!

@jimmio92 @Frankenstein68 In some area, Rogers is the only provider. So, Bell and Telus use Rogers antennas to serve their own clients. In such a region, absolutely no cellular service from any companies.

@NforEnd @sunlorrie People don’t get it yet that all providers are linked. Koodo is a telus company and when we had the rainstorm that took down Ontario this past spring - I had no phone and no internet for almost three days because telus was down.

Telus is the lowest of lows, maybe Rogers is almost equivalent. But still, Telus has so many problems and charges so much for terrible service that it feels like a scam organization. No accountability either.

@TeacherMr_G Telus sent someone door knocking to our door last night to try and capitalize on it. The guy specifically referred to the outage.

Everyone thinks switching from Rogers to Bell or Telus will teach Rogers a lesson and fix this problem They don’t realize it just makes it worse Putting more market share and power into just 2 companies now #rogersoutage #RogersOutage2022
