I'd hate to be a senior or not technically savvy and be with @Fidomobile $10.00 for "Account handling fee" if you want to call and make changes to your account. I guess #CSR are too expensive.

I've called Telus and asked about it to make sure I'm not charged. They tell me to keep an eye on my bill and call if something happens. I've never been billed for it unless I actually cross the border.

Steve Coville (@SteveCoville) reported from Kingston, Ontario@vdavies65 We don't have that issue with Cogeco or Telus.. but I'm not surprised if Bell or Rogers pulled that stunt especially if you use their entire digital platform. CRTC may have to consider breaking them up they're like the oil companies in the 1920's

Cons (@Consrcrooks) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Telus customer service is non existent. They don’t listen and their service has gone to ****. Furthermore the cell service is sporadic in my area and I’ve never had. So many dropped calls like I have as of late ! Good riddance , on to Rogers I go.

Dave McCristall (@davemccr) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Best strategy for cell plans is to have ZERO loyalty to providers. I’ve been with 4 different providers in 5 years. Tired of their games. Buy the phone you want, get a plan, switch when they don’t treat you right. My current plan is 80gb North America roaming. $27 a month.

Called today & was told the order was still being processed and a $30 charge fore the remote. Tech put in a new order saying 7 to 10 biz days.

It is planning to go through Telus which uses Starlink for in-flight services on Westjet. Why doesn't the government directly contract Starlink to provide those 4,000 homes the most reliable internet service on the planet for a fraction of the cost? No logic. We need to change that. 63 million is nuts!
