@TELUS @TELUS you can keep trying to flag my account, but ive proven im real and not a bot to twitter enough times, you will fail

I hate to give Bell credit for something but amount of issues we have faced since switching over internet (from Shaw) and TV (from Bell) are absolutely ridiculous. Would never recommend Telus to anyone.

@strategyrick @steeletalk That’s fair. I have no services with Rogers or Shaw. I’m with Telus for Internet and cell phones. I’ve always thought they had amazing customer care over the years. And while, yes, Telus also outsourced a lot of reps across the world, I’ve had some amazing service from them.

  • rantonstupidity James Wooten (@rantonstupidity) reported

@business Shaw never recovered from its early failure to invest in wireless, letting Telus, Bell and Rogers dominate the wireless market. Freedom Mobile was a case of too little, too late.

  • danny_underwood Danny Underwood (@danny_underwood) reported

@leadsheep1 I switched from Shaw due to the horrible customer service, I’m now on Telus and they have... horrible customer service. They are all bad and some of the most expensive prices in the world.

Years ago: Telus: I am the internet supplier Shaw: check out broadband Telus: **** Years later: Telus: I am the cellular provider Shaw: Buys Wynd mobile Telus: **** Today: Telus: I have more coverage for home internet, cell service, and- Rogers: buys Shaw Telus: ****.

  • EdlundEric Eric Edlund (@EdlundEric) reported

If you look at the numbers Canada wide, the acquisition of Shaw Communications would increase Rogers customer base by about 18%. It would put them about 2M customers above Telus and Bell.

  • PaulEAndrews Paul Andrews (@PaulEAndrews) reported

@SneakyCanadian @Shawhelp TELUS is no better. In fact less transparent on outages. When our business had TELUS we had nothing but issues with them reporting on outages. In this case we’ve been told it’s a fibre cut, at least Shaw is working on it, TELUS would still be discussing how to solve.

@kohakukuma_ That’s mobile. Telus home Internet service is outrageous also.

  • Bgstony Barry ‘Big Ed’ Gibson (@Bgstony) reported

@maxfawcett Never felt I ever had much choice. I guess in the past decade Telus has competed with Shaw for my cable. And of course there’s always satellite. But I never really considered this monopoly industry to be competitive to my benefit. Rogers owning Shaw doesn’t really change that.
