@PartPhil @CswcAndy It’s worth it. I was legitimately calling to cancel my cable and they ended up giving me Pick 8 + Gig Internet (with Telus) for ~$125/month. Only for a 2 year term anyway, but we’ll see if I can twist their arm again in another 2 years

@thedave2006 Yes. Telus. Not bad, considering Canada has no growth strategy other than household formations. Telus added 1 million customers in 2022. The modern utilities.

@nuvguy @PartPhil ✅ not every neighbourhood has fibre. From what I understand Shaw doesn’t bog down, you get constant speed whereas Telus is susceptible to high demand usage. If you pay for 500g speeds on both networks only Telus will bog. But I’m NOT an expert on this topic

@BubleQe @TELUS @AssetTraveller Premium valuation on $T.TO and mediocre earning... that's what happens. They made big bets on Telus Health and some highly priced acquisitions in recent times... Patience needed here, story solid but may get knocked down a peg for trying to do too much in too many verticals...

@nuvguy @PartPhil Ahhh I see. So you’re saying Shaw bigs down during high usage but Telus doesn’t? Or both do?

@rupasubramanya Telus. I tried to get internet hooked up for our business, first they said there was no line and we may hear back in 30 days if they can get to us or not. (In calgary) then tried to cancel when shaw came and did it the next day. It took 3 weeks
