Welcome to Telus where customers feel entitled to a phone line and will throw accusations at you when they fail a credit check.

I’ve given up the same 416 phone number I’ve had for decades! I was told I’ve been paying $20 more per month compared to what people in Quebec pay. My cost of home internet/cable and cell service has plummeted compared to what I last paid in Toronto. #BellCanada #Telus

@cassidyolivier @katiederosayyj They asked for 33 call takers. How many did Telus provide? So then the problem was not Telus.

@realJeff45 Telus said they did. They've separated the cost of the plans and phones. You used to pay about $90/mth that included a $0 phone. Now your plan for 4 ppl is $65 each. Govt now says if you want a phone, buy a phone or make payments. But your base plan has gone down. Dead serious.

@CBCEarlyEdition the handling of this whole Covid 19 is disgraceful the first day of the rollouts was so bizarre as Telus just let us down maybe an indication of their commitment as a telecoms provider. 300 people got appointments. Developing Country?

@RobShaw_BC Entwistle’s statement says TELUS “promised” to provide 156 call centre agents. In other words, the contractual obligation was 156 agents and TELUS met that obligation. TELUS obviously being very diplomatic as the BC GOV is a huge customer.

@tararobertson A friend of mine was on the Telus side and I’m not sure it was an execution issue… people should know better than to call 1.7 million times.

@jjhorgan @TELUS And some eligible people called 100s of times...that didn't help either. I know that people are desperate to get the vaccine. I am too, but when my turn comes I'll wait a few days before I call. (and I'm actually at a higher risk for severe disease than others in my age group)
