@adolwyn I’m with Bell. My ex-GF had Rogers services on her phone, and it was terrible. I talked her out of using Rogers and moving to either Bell or Telus (and I’m not the biggest fan of Telus due to past issues.)

@steeletalk @TELUS Me too with Koodo(a Telus sub). I spent months talking, texting, and emailing their ”support“ staff. After 4 months of delay and “we’re looking into it” I gave up and ate half the cost. Telus only helped you because you have a public voice. Don’t thank them, dig deeper.

@lizthegrey Oh, super interesting. What did you use? Right now I have a telus box going into a Google wifi mesh + cat6 off the Google wifi (the house is all wired). Would love to be able to skip one hop and have internet go first to the wired network then wifi from there

@kailnotkait @ShawInfo The fibre optics they use is unreal man. Shaws connection isn’t port forwarded to each individual house. Instead their transformer is on a shared network with your neighbors that’s why it’s so slow. Telus’s infrastructure allows personal connection with each house, I agree bro
