@Crackmacs Shaw Mobile. On Shaw at home as well as Telus has weirdly not installed fibre in our block. We’ve moved around and reconfigured our Shaw Gateway Modem and pods so many times and there’s still problems with the TV and internet in places in our (not gigantic) house.

@Crackmacs I’m on freedom. Was on telus. Service has more dead spots on the highways outside of major cities but no difference within the city for me and I pay a fraction of the cost. Was with telus for 20 years and they refused to budge.

@UbakaOgbogu Telus is conspiring with the UCP to privatize medicine in this province (Telus Babylon, Copeman, etc). They don’t get $.01 from me. I’m sure the Shaw’s support UCP, but less maliciously perhaps

@SAndersonshpk @UbakaOgbogu Yes, it's difficult to avoid them. Really just have to go with who has the better package for your address and swallow your pride... Generally Telus Fibre for areas covered by it, Shaw otherwise. Shaw tends to have better customer service in my experience.

@Crackmacs I recently switched my TV and Internet from Shaw to Telus because they wanted to double my price, and the stability of the internet was terrible. And my WWE Network sometimes looked like I was watching it on a satellite dish during a thunderstorm.

@dobradors @UbakaOgbogu Shaws model upgrades are always an improvement, so far. The only Telus product in my house was forced upon me when they (Telus) bought the company that provides the service.

@CCPAMB Once again, MTS was going to get privatized regardless who was in power. Get over it! BTW, Bell MTS has a monopoly for a cell provider for the north. Telus barely lasted a year (if that) before shutting down their store in The Pas.

@daemoncat4 @albertarebel1 Legit, cancelled everything with Telus after the Hub fiasco, and their (major lack of) customer service.

@SAndersonshpk @UbakaOgbogu Is it true that virtually all TELUS employees are contract workers, which results in little incentive to provide service - compared to Shaw, regardless of quality service, who at least are hired employees?
