@kirst_alyssa @TELUS We switched from Rogers to telus as our bill dropped by $40 for two phones and from sharing 5gig to 30gig ..never got a call or offer from Rogers untill they must jave got wind that we were switching suddenly started getting calls ....sounds like they are all the same.

@nenshi When I was working on 5G towers the Filipino Temporary Foreign Workers were falling off of the Towers and dying. Rogers and Telus did not pay out compensation because they were sub contracted to the projects for 50 cents on the dollar. Also the Temporary workers brought down wages of Canadians. Is this the society we want? Cheap and disposable labor? Canada is not as good as the 1980s and 1990s and 2000s.

@Harryslaststand @marlene4719 Nope. Not any more than other public assets like Air Canada, CNR, Petro Canada, Telus, BC Rail, Hwy 407 in ON, the Canadian Wheat Board, etc. etc. The public gets higher prices & poorer service. But a handful get very wealthy.

They serve many Alberta customers.** Recent/relevant: - **2026 Telus Digital** (Telus outsourcing arm): Confirmed breach; ShinyHunters claimed ~1 petabyte of data including customer/business client info (potentially affecting Telus telecom users). - **2026 Rogers/Fido**: Alleged breach; 10.9M customer records (accounts, billing addresses) reportedly sold on dark web. - **Bell Canada**: 2017 (~1.9M customer emails/phone numbers); 2018 (100k); 2024 (2.2M data leak). all you got was nothing for that wifi. that will be fix. new wifi router. telus will not be giving you the password. that is why you do not use cellphone data. they go to the cellphone company and steal all your passwords and hack you. they have the router.

@MelissaLMRogers Rogers increased our company's bill several times. They wanted even more once the sixth year we had been with them ran out, so we switched to Telus. After a few Telus fibre installation and billing hiccups were sorted, we now have a superior service from Telus at lower cost.

@ProvoGal01 @TELUS @TELUSsupport I called for support the other day, I couldn’t understand the agent, his accent was so bad and he could barely speak English I asked for another agent and he became rude and abusive, at least the Philippine agents could speak English Terrible customs r service
