ALSO, Rogers' Mobile services started all coming back online around the time AZ streamed so there's a good chance ya had cell svc during her stream. (Assuming you have a phone that uses Rogers' infrastructure and not Bell's or Telus'.) Some companies who DIDN'T have any problems:

@RogersHelps This is a great reason to switch to Bell or Telus. Rogers infrastructure is horrible in terms of reliability, management and commitment to quality. What is this, the third time in 5 years Rogers has had a major outage? Telus and Bell at 0 in the same time frame.

@TELUSsupport I’m a Telus customer and I lost my cell phone service yesterday. The home phone was not affected. Why does Rogers have control over Telus.

@blogTO Rogers should 'fess up, own up & pay up! Bundles aren't good in situations like this. Less reliance on technology re business & our lives. Government should do something about the monopoly of Rogers, Telus & Bell & their skyrocketing prices vis-a-vis their unreliable service.

I’ve had the same account with @TELUS for over 20 years and in that time I have experienced a single 6 hour outage for which they refunded me half my bill that month. @Rogers you charge a fortune for **** service. I hate you and the fact that I have no other option for internet

@IanKing Doesn't help that the CRTC senior ranks are stacked with former Bell/Rogers/Telus execs and they all too often act like they still work for their old employers and not the public service.

@Motomom128302 Telus runs on bell lines. I was with them but they are expensive. I’ve been on many different plans but for internet rogers has always been more reliable than bell. Especially the bell fibe crap!
