    @TELUS for the first time in 10 years I can genuinely say your customer service sucks. Your web store sucks at shipping anything on time, they caused the problem.. but the answer.. just cancel your service.. Okay, I most certainly will.

    TELUS Corporation slashed its quarterly dividend by 55% to 18.75 cents per share (down from 41.84 cents). This aggressive corporate reset by newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Victor Dodig follows a massive $1.8 billion net loss for the second quarter of 2026. In immediate response, TELUS shares plummeted 11% to finish Friday trading at $13.38 on the Toronto Stock Exchange, wiping out years of gains for retail income investors.

And I am happy to see that your instincts mostly checkout :) : $QBR-B: 🟢 OPTIMAL | Quality 85, Opportunity 80. P/FFO 8.7x, ND/EBITDA 2.9x, 11.8% dividend CAGR. The model loves this one - Quality 85 is significantly higher than BCE (57) or Telus (58). The 2.2% yield is light, but total shareholder yield is 3.79% with buybacks. $CCA: 🟠 CAUTION | Quality 45, Opportunity 70. Yield 6.38%, P/FFO 1.5x. The $2.2B impairment on the U.S. segment (Breezeline) is flagged as a permanent structural problem, not temporary. The algorithm sees the value but doesn't trust the moat. The BCE management trust point is well taken. "The dividend is safe" → 42% cut a year later is exactly the kind of credibility gap no quantitative model captures.     @VanIsleInvestor @gulbraa24 @TELUS It's so bad. This is layer 1 of the onion. Share price needs to go below 9 for the directors of the company to realize the management is filled with people who pretend to know what they're doing. There is potential, but there would need to be an office space culling.

    @krisster8 I refused and kept my job at @telus ultimately quitting in 2024. They tried to make me test every day I faked it by taking a picture of the same test every day. I never tested myself one time. **** them and **** that!

    @BenRabidoux Most people already have cellphones. Most of the times when I speak to a representative of Telus I come away with the feeling that they are trying to cheat me in some way. It is not a surprise that subscriber growth has slowed down.

    @PsudoMike Seems like a big bath. Telus just bought back Telus digital after spinning it out. New ceo taking a big write down so big bonuses and results later on. Lower expectations, outperform.

    accidentally paid my phone bill twice. 🙄 watch TELUS act like they’re processing a mortgage application just to give me my own money back. I’m already dreading tomorrow’s customer care call.
