Colin Regan 🚀 (@engalicorn) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Yeah my experience last month with them was brutal. Activated international roaming online no other option. Turns out Seattle isn't international. $100 worth of roaming fees before I even left the airport @ $5/mb They text me "Text ROAM" to activate timing. "How embarrassing there's been an error" 2 hrs with tech support no solution. Bought $25 dollar esim online. Unlimited data for 5 days. 1/5 the cost of Telus Roaming plan that I can't add. Now I know.

Here for Now (@CardozaBuilds) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS My Bring It Back with Telus ended mid April. I paid out the hardware and ported to Rogers. I had had enough of their poor service, inconsistent network and their need to charge for a new SIM card even though it was their recommendation as a possible remedy to my network issues.

Deb Mullen (@djmullen52) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Sadly they are pretty much all the same. Ok if you are a new customer, get a deal, then start raising the price till you call. It all falls apart after that.

Re Boot (@rebo0ot) reported@DaBluedudeGames @TELUS @TELUSsupport They’ve never ever spent any money 💰 on web development. Try logging in and navigating around in different areas. It’s a cringe experience. And their mobile app is worse if that’s even possible but they managed to succeed.

Robert Occhiuto CPA CA (@RobertOcchiuto) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Telus went downhill. They don’t want business. Their rates are not competitive with Bell. Customer service all overseas. I stopped supporting companies that don’t hire Canadians.

Dividend Alex (@AlexSS94736924) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Ever since their customer service switched to 100% AI it’s useless; going to switch soon too
-
Alexander Grant (@bk1022) reported@PsudoMike Okay. Although I guess I'd say there is no longer an incentive to buy hardware from Telus. Telus's best customer retention pricing is still worse than BestBuy, let alone other places.

Jonathan (@kingofvictoria) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS @TELUS needs to revamp their customer service. We need to speak to Canadians that actually speak English or French. Quit offshoring your customer service.

Ben Leonard (@dailygallows) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Had the same issue with Rogers last month. It ended with me uttering the words ‘I’ve been a customer for 13 years and don’t want to leave, do you not see how insane this is?’

PsudoMike 🇨🇦 (@PsudoMike) reportedTelus starts charging $15 for SIM cards today. CRTC bans activation fees tomorrow. They didn't remove the fee. They renamed it. A SIM is literally required to use the service. The CRTC flagged this as a potential violation. Telus did it anyway. Canadian telecom policy is basically whack a mole, except the carriers always hit back.
