I am going to cancel my @Shawhelp cable service as a Christmas present to myself. 3 months of half of my channels not working, at full price, was being tolerated. Die Hard on Christmas Eve not working, unacceptable. @TELUS you’ll be up.... get ready. 🎄

@urbanehillbilly There are several towers very nearby, I had previously used some type of Telus stick and it worked very good, though the monthly charges were crazy. Then, got on with Canada Surfs out of Stony Plain, a tower signal that has been very good after they got the few kinks out.

@kuda_hove @Fidomobile Fido truly has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Had to switch to Telus and so far the customer service has been pretty amazing *knock on wood*

@ezralevant Imagine how low their ratings would be if CBC Newsworld wasn't the only 24 hours news network on many basic TV packages. It's all I get with Telus Optic without paying for a news package.

@ChrisLaBossiere @Shawhelp @TELUS Same since March w Shaw and Telus is no different. The problem is, there is no regulation (and I’m not suggesting a regulated solution) for what they do on the retail side. They can sell you whatever speed or channel they want. If they don’t deliver there is no recourse at all.
